Let's not forget that many career republicans have been elected or reelected in the last election, when Trump tries to undermine the election he is undermining their victories, they are not going to support that.
 
I know it's moot now, but Biden's lead in Georgia is now 10195.
No way a recount flips that.

Seriously why? If you have good procedures in place there is no need for a recount unless a problem has been identified. (I suppose if the winning margin was literally 1 or 2 votes it may be an idea.)

I am guessing the only 'plant' they have is a backhoe and a couple of tractors. I don't think they sell flowers and bbq equipment, they don't claim to be a garden centre.

What I find interesting is that in Australia, and I’m certain the UK and many other stable democracies, when an election result shows a seat is won by, say, 20 votes people shrug their shoulders and say “jeez, that was close”. No cries about fraud, conspiracies, dead people voting etc etc.

How can so many people not trust institutions that really, truly made America great?

In the UK at least, the "grown ups" have been the ones losing for the last decade..

If the Tories narrowly lose the next election I cannot guarantee that some of the swivel eyed loons on the right of the party might start making those kinds of noises.

Should check out the Daily Mail comments sections after an election. We have plenty of nutters in the UK who are exactly like the MAGA types.

I suspect what SG is suggesting is that they wouldn't necessarily vote as a block.

And while recent developments and the fear of being 'primaried' becoming a more distant threat may have given some Repugnican senators a bit more breathing space I am not sanguine about the odds that they will be much more willing to break away from the pack than they have been in the recent past. Certainly on any position of importance, and their evil dwarf leader will consider all positions to be ones of importance.

Anyone falling out of line will face swift and thorough retribution. Committee spots will become fewer and less attractive, for example. Supporter for pet projects will dry up. Etc.. McConnell has plenty of ways to punish recalcitrant and rebellious senators of his own party, and he won't hesitate to use them.

So, in general, I agree with you.

"Landscape supply" generally means they sell landscape rocks, aggregate, sand, mulch, and soil.

I was a Georgia resident from 2005 until earlier this year. Outside of Atlanta and a few other population centers, it’s the reddest of red states. I’m astounded that it may very well have turned blue, at least in the presidential race.

But we can hope the two pending Senate runoff races may go blue as well. I doubt it, but I also doubted any Biden chance in Georgia at all, so maybe this new groundswell of Democratic enthusiasm will have “legs”, so to speak.

Really bad news is we had hoped the incessant, repetitive political ads were ending. We still have a second N GA home and expect to be inundated by senate runoff ads over the next months. Sigh.

That's true but landscapists are usually people who design things, so to attract their target audience they should at least have a base that looks like they are masters of their art. It does say 'total' landscape not 'rocks and soil'.

Most folks probably never visit the center. I'm betting industrial parks just put out bids and these guys show up, develop a concept and present it right in the CEO's office.
