Trump will steal all the furniture when he leaves.
Just in case anyone missed Norman Alexander's post from last night.
Trump will steal all the furniture when he leaves.
Trump Tweets
“We need an explanation as to how these numbers have been running up for the last two or three days.” Matthew Whitaker.

"Great furniture....the best furniture....the greatest furniture..,,In that great house..........the greatest house.......for me.....a great president....the greatest president"
We have an explanation. That the Trumper's don't like that explanation doesn't change that fact.
Trump will steal all the furniture when he leaves.
He might get some towels, a fluffy bathrobe with an embroidered "Greatest Prez" on it, maybe some of those little sachets of coffee and wee tubs jam and butter and stuffThere are end tables in the White House that are worth a million dollars. Trump could be a billionaire if he steals enough furniture from the White House.
But I don't think he'll get away with that.
The National Park Service manages a lot of the "stuff" in the White House. Imagine a meeting in February:
"We inventoried. We can't account for the thing, and the thing, and the other thing."
Face palms, sighs all around.
"He took them?"
Heads nod, shoulders slump.
"Well, I guess...(sigh)... one of us has to go to Florida."
Nobody looks up. Nobody volunteers.
And yet here you are. My condolences that there's zero things of interest in your hemisphere that you'll park yourself here and spam the return key.
Very good post. Also the President gets a lot of gifts from dignitaries from foreign countries and others. But here's the thing, the President only accepts them on behalf of the country. You gotta think Trump thinks uh no, they're his.

I have a vague memory from reading something that they can actually keep them if they personally pay market price.I'm fine with Trump taking the glowy Orb thing from Saudi Arabia with him to his Lair.
I just saw Meadows tested positive for COVID-19. His death or incapacitation might well be advantageous for the nation. Dana Bash has reported that he was one of a few key advisors whispering false hope in Trump's ear. If he dies or can't continue in that capacity, the country may be well served. The more voices forcing reality on Trump the better.
Unbelievable! Did he just socially distance himself, no hand shaking?CNN's Kaitlin Collins reports Meadows was at an election night party Tuesday in the White House in which hundreds of people attended. Collins reported that officials said everyone would be tested before the event.
Bloomberg White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs tweeted that four other White House aides currently have coronavirus, citing sources. Jacobs also said "pains were taken" to keep Meadows' diagnosis secret and that people around Meadows who knew about it were told to keep quiet....
... It marked the latest case of the virus in the West Wing, coming not even two weeks after Marc Short, Vice President Mike Pence's chief of staff, and other aides tests positive for the virus. Trump, first lady Melania Trump, and at least two dozen others tested positive for the virus in early October, after Trump held large gatherings of people not wearing face-masks, including the ceremony announcing the nomination of now-Justice Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court....
Maybe you can now think why nearly half your country voted for him again and address that.
He doesn't get a say.
I know everyone is going all uber the dude is the evilest human to walk the earth, as they are all excited about him losing, which is probably a good thing. But a bit of realism.

Still think Obamas dagger was the coolest.
Would buy that when leaving
Depends on whether they think there is still cheese available when that ship moves on to other waters. Trump will still be Trump. I don't doubt that he will still have rallies, if he can get the rubes to pay for them. I just don't know if they will be all about his skin care cream or his fashion line or his news network, but they will still be all about him.
This needs to be on another thread and not derailing this one, but I knew Ardern would win and am not particularly worried about it.This happens in virtually every democracy in the world, including yours.
Yes, we know you are pissed off that Arden and Biden have been elected. You are hurting, this is clear to everyone.
But, guess what? Democracies can cope with and govern with thin majorities. This is how democracies work. Do you have an alternative?

We had CHCH and covid. And in between making stuff ups she did all right media wise.
Disasters help leaders if they don't mess it up like Trump
Well they did.Totally on topic. I was talking about your reaction to Biden’s win and the fact that less than 50% percent voted for Trump.
