A positive message: Let Trump file all the lawsuits he wants. It's well past the vote spread for Trump to win.

But it will keep Trump occupied during the lame duck, preventing him from causing as much damage.

It pretty much is. There are not enough outstanding ballots left given the percentages for Trump to overtake Biden.

I agree that it'd be great if Trump busied himself just flapping his hands until January, but I'm afraid his advisors will push for him to cause damage until the bitter end.

Maybe - he's using the lawsuits as a fundraiser lure, and the proceeds are split 50/50 between paying for the lawsuits and paying down his campaign debt. Knowing Trump, much of the campaign debt is probably owed to his own companies. He' probably making money off these lawsuits, no matter how frivolous they are.

I heard that if you're one of the first thousand people to contribute you will receive a free juicer! It also slices, dices, and removes potato skins! But that's not all!! You'll also get a miniature version of the juicer that you can keep on your keychain!!!!
 
Biden seems willing to cool it on declaring victory, even though he's obviously going to win. It's nice to see some level of restraint in someone certain to become president soon. The previous president was such a ridiculous, posturing clown, that this new style of calm reasonableness will take some getting used to.
 
I've seen this falsehood repeated in this thread and elsewhere, so let's be 100% clear:

It is not possible for any state legislature to affect the result of this election. State legislatures can pass a law deciding how that state's electors are allocated, but they've already done that: The electors are apportioned based on the result of that state's vote. It's too late to change anything now. Any talk about switching things up now is nothing more than fascist wishful thinking. That's still concerning, but not for the reason that actual votes are gonna get tossed.

I recall a segment about a day ago that showed 3 cycles back. Maricopa has become much closer ober time and, in this election, razor thin.

300 Californians pet day moving to Phoenix suburbs for a decade and growing minority populations have changed that county.

This is another reason not to call it, this big block of votes can't be assumed to slant one way or the other.

I don't know what these new counts contain by county, but as mentioned above, the batch as a whole didn't wander far.

When Trump was being impeached one of the Republican outcries was that the impeachment was "like Pearl Harbor".

My reply on Facebook was: So, it caught you completely by surprise and now you might lose Arizona?

The last dump of 70K votes was 38K-31K for Trump. He picked up 7K in 70K votes. It may be close but I don't see how he can catch Biden. I think Biden wins by 10K-20K.
