2020 Presidential Election part 2

I think that there is a legitimate argument for invoking the 25th Amendment right NOW

Clearly Trump is unhinged, and could do significant damage in his last 2 months.

Let Pence finish out his term. And send Trump away in a straight jacket.

I admire your enthusiasm, but I don't think this will happen.

Marjorie Taylor Green ,newly elected GOP Qanon whackjob from Tennesee is off to a great start;picking a fight with a Prominent GOP house Member:

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/11/06/crenshaw-marjorie-taylor-greene-twitter-spat-434751

Guaranteed;however much the House Dems might not like her her fellow Republican House Members will hate her even more;clear she is will considers almost every other Republican house member as part of the Deep State.

SHe has not even taken the oath, and already she is meeting my expectations as a source of entertainment.

So Crenshaw says;

"Did you even read past the first sentence? Or are you just purposely lying so you can talk tough?" Crenshaw tweeted in response. "No one said give up. I literally said investigate every irregularity and use the courts. You're a member of Congress now, Marjorie. Start acting like one."

I find this somewhat ironic, since she is acting exactly like the Repugnicans in both House and Senate have been for the past four years.

Her only misstep was to do it against another Repugnican.

Well lets start the conversation right here then. We can move to another forum as needed if it starts to get too far off topic.

I wonder if congress will be to preoccupied with the election results and challenges to pass the prime act?

In my opinion Trump had the chance to win by a landslide had he taken this bipartisan legislation and pushed to pass it back when it first was introduced in the House (05/25/2017).
Instead of trying to rebuild economically devastated small farmers by opening up markets we are locked out of by regulatory capture and rebuild rural communities though, at every step he and Purdue tried to crush the life out of it even further! This from Wisconsin, one of the States Trump could have won, if he wasn't such an idiot.
U.S. Agriculture Secretary: Family farms might not survive
Yep, if only Trump was more than a narcissist con man.

You don't care about the election but you DO care about trolling opportunities of which you have now been denied since your prediction didn't pan out.
I am not trolling. I am just pointing out the hysteria over one idiot.

Look.

I don't envy American voters given both candidates.

I just get to look at both sides faults without rose coloured glasses and bias

You are clearly not an objective observer. Trump has done damage to the USA that will take decades to repair, even longer since Republicans still hold the Senate.

This is very true IMO, and very important. Getting rid of Trump is one thing, but there's a lot of work to do after that.

Yes, it's Trump's pandemic. I'm glad you agree.
Trump - "Chinese virus"

You - "Trump's pandemic"

And you wonder why people watching the US are thinking what a ****** up place. What happened.

Reality - different leaders reacted in different ways to an unknown pandemic. Trump among others did it stupidly, because of his ego.

Edit: It is humorous you are using his own stupid tactics to take some moral high ground

Trump legal-challenge fundraiser has some fine print
President Trump is racing to raise money for an “official election defense fund.” But the fine print on the solicitations tells a different story: Half -- or more -- of any contribution will be used to retire debt from his re-election campaign.

With Democratic nominee Joe Biden ahead in several battleground states as the vote count continues, the Trump campaign is filing lawsuits in at least four states, including Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Starting early Wednesday, the campaign and the Republican National Committee have been sending dozens of daily text messages and emails saying they need financial support to challenge voting procedures.

“We must PROTECT the Election!” says one campaign text Friday signed by Mr. Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. “My father’s calling on YOU to help bolster our critical Election Defense Fund.”

Clicking through to the donation page, potential givers can review a disclaimer that 50% of any contribution will be used for general election campaign debt retirement and 50% for the campaign’s recount account.

Other Trump fundraising pitches in recent days ask for help to “protect the integrity of this election” but lead to a donation page for Mr. Trump’s “Make America Great Again” committee. The fine print on those solicitations says 60% of a contribution helps the campaign retire debt and 40% goes to the Republican National Committee.

Glub glub glub
Wait, I thought he was a billionaire.

Are those run-offs finished now? I missed it.

The run-offs are in Georgia.

AZ (2 Democratic wins) and AK (1 Republican win) Senators are pretty much cleared.

There's one more incomplete Senator vote count, I can't recall but I think it is a likely GOP seat.

The Senate will be 48-52 unless either of those runoff seats in Georgia go against common sense. So the Democrats picked up one Senate seat. They needed at least 3.

We should start now working to make sure we don't lose the House in 2022. Maybe we could gain more Senate seats then but it might be difficult.
