Sasse, Bacon are also favored to win in Nebraska
Trump certainly wouldn't campaign for Sasse, but maybe he is going for a shutout in Nebraska.

As wildly conservative as they want? Probably not. Education tends to either diminish conservativeness or weed out those who refuse to learn, and conservative voters tend to view education & intelligence and even restraint negatively, so the better you know a subject like law and stick to professional standards & such, the less like them you are.Do they really not have any qualified conservative judges they could have appointed? Really?
Good let's hope that the old fogeys they frog-march to their rallies and then leave stranded become disillusioned enough to realize how little Trump gives a **** about them.
They're aware of the fact that bus arrangements are handled by someone else, not Trump himself. There has to be at least a few people in that crowd who are re-thinking their vote. Every time he pulls a stunt like this, it hurts him.

By the way,
In other news, Trump is now down to 11% chance of re-election acccording to FiveThirtyEight.
I think this is the lowest he has fallen and it comes after about three weeks hovering at 12-13%

This is a lie that is easily exposed by searching "The Dixiecrats" and counting how many switched to the Republican party VS how many remained a Democrat. Now if you wish to create a topic for debate please do so but as this is off topic for this thread I cannot respond further here as I have no wish to hijack the thread from the 2020 election.

NEW: Previously un-released documents show the government has paid $2.5 million to @realdonaldtrump's businesses. Far more than we knew.
Trump Org charged $7,700 for a dinner, $6,000 for floral arrangements…and $3 for POTUS’s own glass of water.
Days it took the GOP to confirm Amy Coney Barrett: 30
Days it took them to pass a $1,900,000,000,000 tax cut for the super-rich: 51
Days since they let expanded unemployment benefits expire for millions of Americans: 88 and counting
Their priorities are crystal clear.
Republican Voters Against Trump
NEW AD: Trump Administration Officials for Biden.
Never before have high-ranking staffers of an incumbent president opposed his reelection and endorsed his opponent. Heed their warning.
Trump supporters in Beverly Hills threaten people if they don't vote for Trump
“Your mother loves Trump – I asked her. We got your plates – we got you,”
The man walks to the front of the car, points, and returns to the passenger window.
“We got your plates baby. We know who you are now. You’re going to vote for Trump whether you like it or not. You got no choice!

Totally normal behavior. Stop being dramatic. Whattabout (insert something a Democrat did some time.) Why won't you have a civil debate with me about the right to threaten other voters? Hey look over there a squirrel. You are only "anti-threatening voters" because you want your side to win, so you are biased.
Also, it's one bad apple, in no way typical of the party at large.![]()
"It was fairly obvious back in July that President Trump was hoping to whip up enough of a fog around the validity of mail-in ballots that he could call for them to be rejected. The rationale for doing so was similarly obvious: Those votes were likely to favor former vice president Joe Biden, given that Democrats were much more likely to indicate that they planned to vote by mail. It’s a strategy as uncomplicated as it is undemocratic: create a false sense of alarm and then leverage that alarm to toss the votes."

I think there is also something about being in a mob that "allows" people to do things they wouldn't normally do, and think things they normally wouldn't think.
This is Nebraska. Trump is predicted to take the state by a margin of 15+ points.

.....and now he's got the SCOTUS votes to see it over the line.
With his "you can change your vote" statement, maybe he's going after early votes as well which appear to be favouring the Democrats significantly. Maybe his intent is to only have on the day votes counted in the swing states.![]()
When it comes to the presidential election, there's one thing that still has me nervous.
Lastyearelection at this time I was all set to anoint Hillary Clinton as president. Then, in the weekend before the election, I noticed something. Michigan was crawling with politicians. Hillary didn't show up, but Bill Clinton did. Trump was here. I can't remember who else, but several high-profile surrogates were beating the bushes in Michigan.
This made me nervous, because Michigan was not supposed to be a swing state. Really, in an election where the Democrat is cruising to victory, Michigan shouldn't be "in play". What were all these politicians doing in Michigan? Shouldn't they be in Ohio, or Virginia?
Well, Michigan is getting a lot of attention right now. Somebody is pretty sure that Michigan is not in the bag for Biden, and if Michigan is not in the bag, I don't see how Georgia or Texas is in play.
Of course, this is a weird year. Lots of things have happened that might shake up standard voting profiles, but for my part I won't breath easy until I see Michigan go blue on the map on election night.....or the Saturday after.
