OK, the mayor didn't resign because of some stupid text messages. And that red head chick is a "non-sexual" escort like I'm a "water-phobic" pool boy.

Oh, no doubt they are out there. I would assume it's a very very very small business though. Then again, it may be some new weird trend, to make a friend that will not be your friend unless they are getting paid. I'm out of that loop.

I googled 'non-sexual escort service' and got a hit for the above link, Rent-a-Friend. And that was about it for the US of A (might have been 1 or two more). Then we were on to UK hits. This was on the first short page of results.

Then I tried 'non-sexual escorts NJ USA'. Got Rent-a-Friend again, then only several more...ahem...clearly traditional escort services, some quite brazen.

Then just 'escort services' and hit the proverbial mother lode of overtly sexual services being offered. I tried my nearest small city and was again deluged.

From what I was able to see on site views, Rent-a-Friend is not exactly crushing the escort market. So I am inclined to stand by my initial assessment: escort services seem to be providing the same ******* services (literally) they have since at least the '80s.
 
I suppose it's not really a point worth arguing, but I would suggest that skeptics also question their own assumptions. (See my sig)

I could understand why some people might draw a line that includes doing cam work or having an onlyfans account, where the customers are at a safe remove, and maybe even being willing to meet some clients in a public place to go on a "date" but not feel safe going back to a hotel room to have sex. The former activities seem to be less risky.

Of course I could be wrong, but I see no reason not to stay agnostic on this point. You are so certain, but what do you really know? At least I know that I don't know.

Um...assuming you are referring to me...

I'm not certain. Its an assumption. Based on what I know about 'escort services', and their typically veiled language about the nature of their activities, and the evident scarcity of actual Rent-a-Friends. I suppose to provide courtroom-level evidence, we could search for what Alaskan non-sexual escort service she worked for. I don't care that much.

We can claim agnosticism on almost any issue. On issues of no import, I'm inclined to provisionally believe what makes the most sense or seems most likely. On matters of greater import, a higher standard is warranted.

What is funny is that all escorts claim officially to not be selling services. Cuz usually illegal, and often indiscrete and stuff. So much like those who eye-roll transparent arguments here, I eye-roll her claims. Now if you'll excuse me, I want to get back to her pics of being triple-teamed. Yours for a small fee!
