Need a little help here.
As I am reading this: reporter Athens who's news station appears to be in a garage, (from some of the pics), gets into a big fight with her boyfriend, the station manager, and is banned from the station. Fights with police on arrest. Claims vague crazy **** about Mayor of Anchorage. She cites as proof a phone without texts from him (deleted, so she is apparently going by memory), and a pic of an older guy's butt, which she claims was on a girl's website. None of this is actually proven, just the whackadoodle claims it.
Mayor realizes he was texting with the reporter, and may have appaered inappropriate, and resigns.
So far it sounds like Wednesday afternoon at the trailer park, with a kind of Jersey Shore meets Northern Exposure topping. Not catching the 'explosive bizarre scandal' angle yet. Sounds more like some screwball jilted reporter blowing smoke, and a chill Mayor realizing it isn't good for the image of the office, and steps down as a matter of decorum.
For some reason Jews are brought into discussion. I guess because Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs reporter is virulently anti-semetic, based on her rantings?
The whole story so far is one nutty reporter going off on an unsubstantiated tear. I have this right?

Still trying to make some sense out of this...
So bakery mom has a daughter who was a 'non-sexual' escort, who also runs a XXX twitter feed, featuring herself topless on her page. OK.
If bakery mom is right, and XXX escort daughter had a paid relationship with Mr Mayor, this could get more interesting. But we are hanging all this on bakery mom and crackpot reporter knowing what they are talking about, yes?
I think we are rather enjoying the likelihood that neither bakery mom nor reporter have any real idea what they are talking about, and yet they kept on talking.
With a side note of: must have gotten somewhere close to something because the mayor nope'd out of there. But do we really care why?

So regarding the non sexual escort. Motion to post pics from her site for skeptical review? Theres a shot of her honking on bobo down a ways; perhaps a high resolution pic could find a rental agreement, or maybe a tramp stamp with 'Property of Mayoral Office' or something?

The daughter explicitly denied that she ever met the mayor or that he was ever one of her clients. Says mom jumped to that conclusion based on nothing more than the fact that he is "short" and she once told her mother that one of her clients was short.
ETA: the woman appears to be a QAnon believer (and it wouldn't surprise me if Maria Athens is too).

Yes. Yes she did. She also said she was a non-sexual escort, which is a slap in the face to most people. I would expect nothing but a denial of involvement from her, as a NDA would be pretty par for the course, and considering her ongoing line of XXX work, discretion is a must or she's unemployed for good.
Yea, they are quite the crew up there. That doesn't mean the mom pulled the Mayor thing out of the clear blue sky. She could be nuttier than a fruitcake, and still relaying that info correctly (that XXX daughter would absolutely have to deny).
I'm hoping something does come of it, or this story drops down to whacky reporter has meltdown.

I'm sure there is some trivial amount of them out there. But 99.9999999994% are a transparent cover for sex servicing. This particular lass' portfolio includes XXX services, so Imma go ahead and guess she is in the overwhelming majority.

There are some who believe that someone who has done any kind of sex work, even something as compartmentalized as cam-girling, simply has no credibility when they deny any sexual component to other things they've done that hypothetically could have involved sex. Your personally knowing better isn't likely to persuade them.
