Voters across Queens have received mail-in ballots for the 2020 presidential election marked for military use despite never having served in the armed forces — raising specter that if mailed in, those votes could be challenged in court post-election.

And this is the smallest of the problems being reported today as the requested absentee ballots begin to arrive.
People are receiving their neighbors ballots; I received a ballot marked absentee military ballot, though I'm not sure that that is problematic or not.

I know I've said this before, but it bears repeating. I was in a union when I worked for New York State. The union leaders told us who the union would be endorsing. The members had exactly zero input. We certainly didn't vote on who the union would be endorsing. "Unanimous" is meaningless here.

....and even if he wins the EC and loses the popular vote he'll claim again that there's been large scale voter fraud.
Heck, he's such a bad winner that if he wins both, he'll claim that the margin of victory would have been even wider were it not for millions of illegal ballots.

It's curious that Biden is doing better in certain swing states than nationally. I hope that's a leading indicator, seeing as swing states are more engaged.

Of course this was one poll. There was another one yesterday for Pennsylvania, from ABC News/WAPO, with also Biden +9%. The average, Biden +4.9% (on 538), is still lower than the national average.

Part of me (part, not all obviously since we're playing with such high stakes here) wants whoever wins Ohio to lose the election just so Ohio's status as the perennial swing state to take a hit.

A good sign. Biden didn't really need either of those states to win the election, and I don't think the Democrats were planning on making a play for them.
Even if they stay republican, hopefully it will cause the GOP to dump more resources into them in order to shore up support. (Which means less campaign money to spend elsewhere.)
Iowa might be worth some Biden money, given that close Senate race there.
