Bloomberg didn't bribe anyone to vote at all. All he did was pay the fine so they could register to vote. They received no money personally at all nor were they told whom to vote for. No law was broken. This is just Trump lying as usual. I'd act surprised but I'm just not that good an actress.

Yeah but I'm still worry about how well he's selling his illegitimizing of the election to people.

A lot of people aren't going to accept it when Trump loses. And at least some of them will be in positions of power and influence to try and do something about it. And at least some of the people not positions of power or influence will commit violent acts in retaliation for the Deep State stealing the election from Trump.

The Republicans are scared to death of losing the election and trying every trick in the book to suppress the vote by Democrats. The vast majority of mail in ballots are expected to be cast by Democrats:
Pennsylvania Republicans are asking the Supreme Court to block a lower court opinion that allowed absentee ballots to be counted up to three days after the election, arguing that the extension “could destroy the American public’s confidence in the electoral system as a whole.”

The shift in deadline could have sweeping consequences for voters in a crucial battleground state where authorities are anticipating historic levels of voting by mail due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Lawyers for state party leaders filed an emergency petition on Monday challenging the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania’s decision earlier this month allowing election officials to count absentee ballots received up to three days after the election, if they are postmarked by Election Day. The change would allow the votes of thousands of Pennsylvanians that would’ve been rejected for arriving after Election Day to be counted.

Damn it, if they are postmarked BEFORE election day, why should it matter? By putting a cap on how long after the election they arrive, it means they can filibuster the postal service to prevent people's votes from counting.

I would say postmarked ON or before Election Day. Considering the cutbacks in mail pickups in most cities (the box nearest me has one daily pickup at 10 a.m.) it might even make sense to allow them to be postmarked one day following Election Day, and delivered up to a week later. But that's only if you want a fair election.

States have always counted ballots after election day. Most States don't certify results until days after the election. It's pretty telling that the GOP is arguing that lawfully cast votes not be counted.

He did harm his wife though. The police noticed bruises and she sad he'd hit her. One hopes he eats the felony and can't vote in November. Florida is a swing state after all.

Isn't it just the opposite, namely, that not counting legitimate votes would "destroy the American public’s confidence in the electoral system".

She had better be careful, or Rudy might have her shipped off to the Ukraine.
