TRUMP: “If stupid people aren’t elected next year, we’re going to have one of the greatest years that we’ve ever had.”

This reminds me of a fake ad that I saw.

TRUMP: “If stupid people aren’t elected next year, we’re going to have one of the greatest years that we’ve ever had.”

BIDEN: "I'm Joe Biden and I approve this message."

8 seconds. Some of the best bang for the time that I've seen in any ad.

The U.S. Post Office (System) has been failing for many decades. We simply want to MAKE THE POST OFFICE GREAT AGAIN, while at the same time saving billions of dollars a year for American Taxpayers. Dems don’t have a clue! @USPostOffice911

Some states use “drop boxes” for the collection of Universal Mail-In Ballots. So who is going to “collect” the Ballots, and what might be done to them prior to tabulation? A Rigged Election? So bad for our Country. Only Absentee Ballots acceptable!

Gosh, Donnie, who is going to collect the ballots? Could it possibly be by, I dunno, election officials? You know, those people who have the keys to open the drop boxes and whose job it is to collect the ballots? Of course, I'm sure there are thousands of fraudulent Dems/Iranians/N. Korean/Russian/Chinese/Illegal Immigrants out there working as election officials planning to collect these ballots and rig the election for Biden.

I think it was founded by such people.

Not wanting a government to tell you how big of a soda you can buy doesn't make you a parasite.

But this is a long, deep, and complicated discussion for another time.

This kind of fake outrage over "government telling you how big of a soda you can buy" is paper-thin justification for what libertarian parasite actually wants.

 It always end up with "different rules for me, different rules for everyone else" Thus libertarianism is parasitic crap.

Yeah... Libertarianism was not founded by good people. It was not pushed or led by good people. The effects of the core of what they push tend to involve severe harm - for everyone, really, but the already rich and powerful come out overwhelmingly better in a relative and immediate sense. With that said, there ARE good people who call themselves Libertarians, I think, though, much as many of those fairly certainly don't have a very full understanding of Libertarianism and its consequences. But then, personal disclosure time, I found myself wanting to vote the Libertarian Party into more power for a while under their "fiscally conservative, socially liberal" pitch, before I understood their nature better.

It's pretty clear that the GOP realise that they cannot win the election fairly so they intend to subvert the process and if that doesn't work, win via the stacked SCOTUS.

They (and their anarchist counterparts) do seem to excel at the kind of "values-laden" messaging that many of us find so lacking in Democratic Party media, for sure.

It isn't hard, it seems, to convince people "what we purport to be about is important, so pay no attention to our methods or behaviors, they are just a bit of 'necessary chaos' during this transitional period."

Well, I suppose the left has a version, but we've had the misfortune of some of the most "successful" examples of implementing systems driven by that self-serving rationalization of needing to seize power drenched in the language of our values and this is now viewed with outsize suspicion. Well, that and about 300 years of successfully keeping race, labor, and class issues from overlapping as they might without sustained divide-and-conquer interference and that would have made the governors of Roman provinces in Gaul and Germania bristle with envy.

The Trumpsters say the same thing about Democrats!

True, but even someone with the mildest desire to be objective would see that there are no Democrats running around yelling “Mail in ballots are good, but absentee ballots are bad.”

ETA
And there are no Republican districts that have lost 10-60% of the voting machines or polling places.

In a diner, yeah. I can see that. But women get patronized in business settings where men simply don't. Not as much as in the past, though, thank goodness. Do you think a man would have been addressed with such a term in a tweet? I don't think so.

Probably not. Honestly, I don't even know who used that word. I hide Cap't Swoop for exactly that reason - half of the stuff isn't even Trump, and it doesn't ever seem to be formatted so that I can tell the difference. I usually see enough of Trump's actual tweets from people quoting and commenting.

One other thing that no one mentioned about that tweet - "Trumpster" is probably not the best nickname.

Why is Congress scheduled to meet (on Post Office) next Monday, during the Republican Convention, rather than now, while the Dems are having their Convention. They are always playing games. GET TOUGH REPUBLICANS!!!

SAVE THE POST OFFICE!

Great division between the Bernie Sanders crowd and the other Radical Lefties. Our Country would be destroyed!

Bernie Sanders is a radical leftist, but also those other people who are moderates are radical Leftists, and everyone I don't like is a Radical Leftist!

Good to see you walking back your original blanket comment. Context matters, donit? I actually do agree that, in context, your initial comment was valid. Your brush was just way too broad.

Fox News cut away from Trump's speech as he delusionally talked about how he plans to win New York in 2020.

Trump on the use of toxic oleander as a potential coronavirus treatment: "Is it something that people are talking about very strongly? We'll look at it."
