Remember how he totally aced that cognitive test a couple months ago?

Now there are rumblings that he didn't actually ace it, and that he got mad and blustered out of the room before it was over (see press conference when he gets put on the spot)

The whole "last questions are really hard" line? It's because he couldn't answer them.

Personally, I can't think of a better time to put a million people to work on rebuilding US infrastructure. It's going to be very hard to get the service industry to rehire a fraction of the people laid off. We've been neglecting infrastructure for a long time. We should be able to do this now.
An excellent expedient, but of course what is needed is a change to the system so that such neglect does not occur in future.

Trump Tweets

We have narrowed the Presidential Nomination Acceptance Speech, to be delivered on the final night of the Convention (Thursday), to two locations - The Great Battlefield of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and the White House, Washington, D.C. We will announce the decision soon!

I hope they pick Gettysburg. I hope there is a massive thunderstorm with wild, near constant lightening. Which hits the teleprompters .... and microphone ... and ....

No, wait, the Secret Service might read this so I'll just leave it at that. :)

One thought which helps lull me sleep is that more of those people have died than have been replenished from the bottom end of the demographic.

That's a good point - there must be a fair few of his voters have croaked in the four years.

That's too horrible to contemplate, so I don't. I'm contemplating what happens when Trump refuses to concede - and I simply cannot picture him ever doing so.

I've mentioned that a few times - it's like waiting for a cliffhanger in a really exciting drama. I wish it were November already. I will not be in the least surprised if it takes SCOTUS to get rid of him.

Ugh, just imagine the smell if that happened.

I always wondered why none of the reporters who have interviewed trump have asked him to answer one if the last questions live...

"Mr president can you show us how bigly good you are at the maths by counting backwards by 7"

“Person, woman, man, camera, TV.”

...
It's the administration of projection. Apparently the idea is to accuse the other side of having problem X before anyone realizes you do.
That's been used since the Karl Rove Playbook. The thing about Trump is he's used this as his ego protection for decades. He doesn't know he's doing it. In his case he believes the projection.

You have a link for this? I'd love to believe it but I know better without evidence.

Was that when the "scientists" said to him: "I can't believe you just did that?!"

This is the part that gets me. They have been putting so many eggs in the basket of "Biden isn't mentally capable" while Trump can't say anything coherent.

It’s so obvious that I can’t believe that I did not recognize the Biden-is-hiding-in-his-basement stuff until I read your post.

As for Trump’s campaign focusing so much on projection, I fear it is only a matter of time until Biden is accused of wearing creepy orange make-up.
