Judge's son gunned down, hitman found dead in car

I get that you and millions of others could not give a darn about what happened on 9/11 but I and many others followed the story closely. If you are intolerant of people following news stories as they develop I can't see how that is my problem.

The topic here is 'Judge's son gunned down, hitman found dead in car'. If you have no wish to discuss it then kindly refrain from trying to censor others from doing so.

Prove he was a hitman.

Not sure why this has gone to conspiracy theory as if such a thing never happens.
Straight out of the conspiracy theorist playbook. If someone dismisses your own pet conspiracy theory, accusing them of believing that conspiracies never happen.

There are millions of heartbroken people in the world who do not go out and shoot some sundry judge, who actually was helpful to your case - Salas allowed the case to proceed five years back.
There are millions of mentally unstable unhinged people in the world who don't shoot people or don't act out on their unhinged mentalities.

But there are some who do. Hence school shootings, workplace shootings, etc.

[off topic to directly refute the claim]

The "millions of others" you speak know exactly what happened on 9/11

Nineteen Arab terrorists hijacked four US Airliners and flew them into three buildings, the fourth one failing to reach its target. That is all.

...Sandy Hook and the Boston Marathon faked? I have never claimed anything of the sort. ...

Smart cooky actually said:
'You're just like those who claim Sandy Hook, the Boston Marathon bombing and other terrorist attacks were all faked...'

Beig a bit dishonest in your responses aren't you.

In which way is it dishonest to deny I have zero to do with Sandy Hook or the Boston marathon deniers? I actually edited books which damned the Sandy Hook and Boston Marathon killers in great detail. So which of us is the dishonest one?

You can't just accuse people of being dishonest based on a wild insult by a random poster who thinks he can discredit me by claiming 'You are just like the Sandy Hook and Boston Marathon killers deniers', which was a blatant lie, designed to make himself look superior.

So explain on topic with the thread title in which way I am 'just like the above' and dishonest.

If you cannot then retract your false claim and apologise.

Den Hollander was not a a school shooter (a youth crime) and nor was he a disgruntled ex-employee acting by the passion of his emotions. The killing was a cold-blooded carefully planned non-personal crime by a man of a sufficient level of intellect to understand right from wrong and reason versus emotion.

Taking an interest in current affairs is not conspiracy theory.

Correct. Sadly I have the impression that you do not only take an interest in current affairs, you treat baseless claims as hard fact and act all hurt when someone points that out to you.

I have always been interested in True Crime and so-called 'mysteries'. You can call it conspiracy theory, I call it getting to the bottom of events which are ipso facto not in pllain sight, being as they are criminal and by nature furtive, hidden and evasive.

Not calling it a conspiracy theory does not make it less of a conspiracy theory.

You are quite welcome to wait and see what Fox News or Murdoch newspapers have to say about anything and I am perfectly entitled to make my own enquiries and do my own research as I see fit.

And everyone else is perfectly entitled to call you out on the baseless tabloid bs you treat as fact and pose as the victim of those pesky skeptics when called out.

I saw one of the twin towers seeming to implode live with my own eyes so I see nothing untoward in discussing why it looked that way.

Many things in this universe work counter-intuitive. A layperson discussing a collapsing building is completely worthless and has lead us to one of the most ridiculous CT ever known.

If you hate so-called conspiracy theory as you claim such curiosity is, then you are not obliged to partake of any debate in these matters.

I read that as "I you want to criticise me then you should not do that"

If you believe I have acted inappropriately then provide specific examples of it or click the little triangle in the left hand side to complain if as you claim it breaches all kinds of ethics and offends your sensibilities.

You are being called out for spreading lies, act like these lies are facts and then act like the victim not for a lack of etiquette.

Nice jab btw with the "offends your sensibilites". Maybe I should actually report that. :boggled:

In the meantime, I shall carry on taking an interest in this particular crime.

And post a lot of baseless stuff about it.

My point is that your argument that "millions of <insert certain type of person here> don't commit murder, therefore there's something suspicious when this <certain type of person> commits murder and there must be other sinister factors at play" is entirely illogical.

For example, the overwhelming majority of people don't commit spousal murder, that doesn't mean that when someone's spouse is murdered that the other partner shouldn't be considered a suspect just because the vast majority of spouses don't commit murder. Your argument makes no sense. It's entirely specious reasoning.

You seem to have forgotten the CT's credo... "Never attribute to logic, reason or commonsense that which can be distorted and re-imagined into some bat-**** crazy conspiracy theory"
True.

This bollocks for example.
The next judge to be appointed for the Deutsche Bank case is going to be **** scared regardless, as will those picked for the jury and the prosecution team. Well, we'll see. Let's see if security is stepped up. If so, then we know the FBI have their doubts this killing was a straightforward murder/suicide with nothing to do with the upcoming case.

Absolute strawman.

My multiple questions regarding your sources and reasoning were, I think, rather indicative of my wish to discuss this issue. They were not an attempt at censorship.
Glad I could clear that up for you.

I am an independent thinker

Facts in evidence are that you're a conspiracy theorist and your knowledge of the real world is based on popular fiction.

Still can't explain how the murder under discussion qualifies as "elaborate?"

Do you base your psychological profiling on anything other than your personal confirmation bias?

For the record, I don't believe for one split second that anyone is distressed, angry, distraught and upset by the topic matter. If I am wrong then there is a Philosophy section where people can discuss the wrongs and rights of speculating on current affairs there.

In the meantime, this thread is about the Salas shooting and the motivation behind it, full stop.
