Trump doesn't need evidence to know that everything is always about the US and, by extension, Himself. This is foreign interference on behalf of Biden, mark my words.
 
I haven’t watched this much of Trump in a long time, and I’m just shouting at the TV.

We must do everything we can to make sure that Biden wins so many EC votes that all the legal shenanigans that will inevitably follow Nov 3 won’t change the outcome. Donate what money you can, and don’t forget those close Senate races (Arizona, Maine, and maybe Kansas after the primary tonight).

Lastly, go to Vote Forward which has some stats on the impact from their letter writing campaign. Every single percentage point is crucial.

That means in 90 days, Trump's desired (and partisan, and racist) conspiracy crank can assume the "acting" authority of the very job the Senate rejected him for. It's a White House move to openly defy the Senate's constitutional authority by … simply ignoring it.

Thankfully, it doesn't matter in this case. The election is about 90 days away so he will never get the position. At least I hope that Biden immediately dumps every single Trump appointee.

I take your point. A major news story winging around the world, it has to be about Trump, and since there's no Trump Tower Beirut (is there? Surely not. Then again ...) it has to be about the US, of which he is the President, you know. I hear the local CNN office was affected, but it's not about that.

Trump has just heard of Beirut and you can safely bet He already understands the situation there better than anybody else ever.

The new president doesn't take office for 169 days. Republicans will be going out during the lame duck period to do as much damage as possible.

Trump has tried to make "Obama-appointed" a damning description, to no real avail. There'll be no need to try when it comes to "Trump-appointed". Death of career right there.

Because up to now, his interviewers were supporters so he got softballs. Well, Mike Wallace did some soft push back but nothing like Swan did.

Someone must have finally got through to him that voting by mail is exactly what he did and most likely intends to do again. I just never thought I'd see him, or his account, assert the specific Vote by Mail / Absentee Voting equality. Pretending their was a distinction was the last pretense they had. Now not only has this assertion forced the pretense to move over to the various systems used themselves it also gives what is a workable model sufficient for even his own use. The Power-that-Be in the GOP and the Big Donors told Trump his constant harping on vote-by-mail had the potential to depress Republican turnout. Basically, they said STFU. Maybe literally. :)

I wonder if there isn't a bigger issue : the big donors fear chaos, and they see that coming with Trump's efforts to de-legitimise the election. They must realise that Trump will not concede, so they can only counter him by actively legitimising the election. Of Biden. Not exactly the end of the world for plutocracy.
