And he went to the House hearing on Barr, no mask of course, when he was supposed to be self-quarantined. He yells a lot. Hopefully he got up close and personal with Barr who also doesn't wear a mask (whoops, couldn't help myself).

Wonder if he's taking hydroxychloroquine. I hear Trump has a stash.

Reminds me of something else in that hearing. Jordan made a fuss about Congresspersons being allowed to attend via video and demanded Nadler not allow it.

Nadler brushed him off.

A lot of the GOP in Congress are bad, but Jordan, Gaetz, Gohmert and Meadows are among the worst Trump butt kissers.

How Partisan Gerrymandering has Hurt Texas’ US House District 1
There are a few districts, which I’ve heard people say is a lost cause to fight for. Gohmert’s district is one of them. On our Facebook page, we’ve often had people walk about the culture in East Texas, the racism, and how it won’t change until the maps are drawn fairly. This may be the case.

I know how you feel. I simple can't suppress a slight feeling of glee when I read the daily death rates in the US. I certainly don't want those people to die, but ... each death is a nail in Trump's coffin as president.

Wow! They were going to destroy all 145 square miles of Portland in a week. Those are some pretty impressive protestors. He reminds me of my father, who thinks that President Kennedy should have resolved the Cuban Missile Crisis by "sending in the bombers and flattening the island coast to coast". It's just a little bigger than he thinks. At least my father has the excuse of a Fifth Grade education.

One more thought on Rep. Gohmert.

He got tested not because he thought it would be a prudent thing to do when working so closely to others. He got tested because he was scheduled to fly on Air Force One today.

No telling how many more days he would have been in close contact with others if the USSS did not test him.

What a goober.
