That was wonderful, thanks!
The Gregory Brothers: "Trump vs. Ramp":
NEW YORK — President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Sunday, announcing he will not be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at Yankee Stadium. As it turns out, there's more to Trump's initial declaration that he had been invited to throw a pitch on August 15 than meets the eye.
When Trump made the announcement in a White House briefing on Thursday — approximately an hour before Dr. Anthony Fauci threw out the first pitch at Nationals Park on Opening Day — his claim that the Yankees had requested his presence at a home game next month came as a surprise to New York Yankees officials and White House staffers.
A report from The New York Times cites Trump's annoyance with Dr. Fauci's "turn in the limelight" as he prepared to throw out the first pitch on the national stage — a toss that flew just a bit outside.
Trump reportedly directed his aides to reach out to the Yankees — and his friend, team president Randy Levine — to capitalize on a longtime standing offer to take the mound in the Bronx. That said, no date had been finalized at the time.
Following his claim on Thursday, Trump's staff pushed to notify the Yankees that the president was booked for Aug. 15. Three days later, Trump officially canceled, referencing the COVID-19 pandemic — and using a racist description of the virus — as the reason he was unable to attend.

To be perfectly fair, Trump and Lincoln share a couple of similarities: they're nearly the same age and have holes in their heads.

So disgusting to watch Twitter’s so-called “Trending”, where sooo many trends are about me, and never a good one. They look for anything they can find, make it as bad as possible, and blow it up, trying to make it trend. Really ridiculous, illegal, and, of course, very unfair!
A video featuring a group of doctors making false and dubious claims related to the coronavirus was removed by Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube after going viral online Monday.
The video, published by the right-wing media outlet Breitbart News, featured a group of people wearing white lab coats calling themselves "America's Frontline Doctors" staging a press conference in front of the US Supreme Court in Washington, DC.
President Trump shared multiple versions of the video with his 84 million Twitter followers Monday night despite the dubious claims running counter to his administration's own public health experts.
During the press conference, a speaker who identifies herself as a doctor makes a number of dubious claims, including that "you don't need masks" to prevent spread of the coronavirus, and that recent studies showing hydroxychloroquine is ineffective for the treatment of Covid-19 are "fake science" sponsored by "fake pharma companies."
"This virus has a cure, it's called hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and Zithromax," the woman claims. "You don't need masks, there is a cure."
Twitter has limited some functionality on Donald Trump Jr.'s account after he tweeted a video that ran afoul of the company's policies on Covid-19 misinformation, a Twitter spokesperson confirmed to CNN Business on Tuesday.
Some of the account's functionality will be limited for 12 hours, the spokesperson said. Twitter has asked the President's son to delete the tweet with the video.
I think he means "Guilded age". Actually appropriate to what he is doing.Trump Retweeted

The Fake News Media is trying to portray the Portland and Seattle “protesters” as wonderful, sweet and innocent people just out for a little stroll. Actually, they are sick and deranged Anarchists & Agitators who our great men & women of Law Enforcement easily control, but who...
....would destroy our American cities, and worse, if Sleepy Joe Biden, the puppet of the Left, ever won. Markets would crash and cities would burn. Our Country would suffer like never before. We will beat the Virus, soon, and go on to the Golden Age - better than ever before!

Ah yes, Gun nut Nugent. The guy who called Obama a "Subhuman mongrel". That's a good sign that Trump is serious about racism.Trump’s Campaign announces its all-star line-up of speakers for new scaled down Republican Convention.
Ted Nugent...
He really needs the work....Antonio Sabato Jr...
The duo who is so insane that even Fox News doesn't seem to want to have anything to do with them. (They made regular appearances until they started making claims that Covid-19 deaths were a hoax to embarrass Trump).and Diamond and Silk
He really needs the work.
He claims his support for Trump has ruined his career, and he had to sell everything, move to Florida, and had to get a job working construction.
He also compared trying to find work in Hollywood to being Jewish during the Holocaust.
I'm sure he was incredibly in demand before he started supporting Trump. Wikipedia shows reality shows, a few TV movies, and an occasional single episode guest appearances on various TV series.
Thank you. "Gilded" age. Without the philanthropy, of course. Only the poverty.I assume "Gilded"? And I'm not so sure - he is probably more familiar with Hollywood's "Golden Age" - you know, when "Gone with the Wind" was made.

Kushner to Republican House candidates: No soup for you!
From: Yahoo News
The House GOP is on the outside looking in, and it doesn't look like the Trump re-election campaign or the Republican National Committee are planning to help...Some Trump officials reportedly consider donating to the House a wasteful investment since it seems unlikely the party will be able to regain the majority....House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has apparently specifically asked President Trump's son-in-law and adviser, Jared Kushner — who oversees such decisions — to make a financial commitment to the House GOP, but he's reportedly refused so far, angering some Republicans who blame him for not understanding the importance of inter-party cohesion.
Remember a year or so ago when the Trump campaign was more or less given control over the general republican re-election finances?
A few things of interest here:
- It looks like Trump has given up on winning the house. I wonder how all those house republicans who voted against impeachment feel about it now
- Hopefully this will lead to more fracturing of the GOP, and a loss of even more house seats.
- I guess now that the GOP won't be spending the money on house re-election campaigns, they will have extra money to spend on Trump Jr's book.
He's probably also upset that they deleted a Breitbart video he retweeted, featuring people claiming to be doctors and spreading false information about COVID-19, including the efficacy of his favorite hydroxychloroquine.
When I went looking for that story, there's also a new story that Twitter has temporarily limited Junior's account, possibly because of the same video.
