Jeffrey Epstein arrested for child sex trafficking

From the FBI per CNN:

FBI New York Assistant Director in Charge William Sweeney said that bureau officials "have been discreetly keeping tabs" on Maxwell who had "slithered away to a gorgeous property" in New Hampshire.

Sweeney said that the FBI, along with the NYPD, arrested Maxwell in Bradford, New Hampshire, this morning without incident.

She was born in France to a French mother and British father. She almost certainly has multiple passports. With her substantial resources, I suspect she could have found a way.

Seriously, FBI, "slithered"? Real professional of you.

I can't find it now but I saw something a few minutes ago indicating that TSA records show her travelling in and out of the country multiple times recently.

I am betting she was under survillence, and she had been placed on the "watch list" by the INS;she tried to take a flight overseas she would have been detained.

Stories are coming out. She apparently flew internationally pretty routinely. Sounds like she may have been overconfident about her U.S. liability.
Prosecutors, in a memo asking that Maxwell be held in jail without bail, argued that the heiress' wealth and international connections made her a flight risk. In the last three years alone, the daughter of British media baron Robert Maxwell has been on 15 international flights to countries like the United Kingdom, Japan, and Qatar, they said in a court filing. ....
"In short, Maxwell has three passports, large sums of money, extensive international connections, and absolutely no reason to stay in the United States and face the possibility of a lengthy prison sentence," prosecutors wrote.

It's a measure of the resources available to her. It's not like she had to put on a disguise and wait tables. When the cops showed up, the knock at the door was answered by her housekeeper.
 
Maxwell was Epsteins closest confidante - she operated his bank accounts, managed his properties, hooked the girls he used, and knows who he dealt those girls to. Whatever happens, there are going to a lot of very wealthy, very well known people who are now going to be crapping themselves. They will want to shut her up.

She needs to be closely guarded and protected because her life is almost certainly in danger!
