I would dearly love to see John Bolton in jail, in the cell next to President Trump.

As I have heard, the items that the Trump Administration are claiming are classified, were classified after publication. I don't think John Bolton or his publisher can be criticised if that is the case.

Not sure if it all was classified after the initial review but some of it was for sure.

This was mentioned in the "Bolton book" thread. There were actually multiple problems with the trump administration's claims...
- the book had already been cleared, before they re-opened the review process
- the person doing the review had not been trained
- material classified after the government received the book to review
- the government had already broken the law... The non-disclosure agreement had a clause that required the government to finish any reviews a month after receiving it, a rule which the trump administration was breaking

Frankly I think the judge made a big mistake... He came to the right decision (that the book was to be published) but did so for the wrong reasons... He should have been much more critical of the trump administration, who was clearly trying to suppress Bolton's work.

Not too surprising to find yet another moral coward in the US government.

Which of course doesn't account for an increased ratio of positive to negative tests, as well as hospitals that are quickly filling up in certain areas.

As The Don says, she has to file, but she doesn't earn enough to be over the threshold of paying extra (about $120,000 US I believe), and even then I think that the Taxes paid here would mean that she would still be exempt from paying in the US.

Or the States that have lowered their rates of testing, but their cases have been increasing.

I kind of thought it was a stupid thing to say and that his handlers would explain to him why he sounds like a childish idiot (yes, I got a lot of F’s on my report card but if they didn’t give out mid-term report cards, I’d have way fewer).

I guess there are some concepts in Trump’s mind that cannot be corrected by all the King’s horses and all the King’s men.

If this case ever went to court (either criminal charges against Bolton, or a civil case taking away his royalties), I would actually be split.

On one hand, I hate the idea of Bolton (a person who lacks integrity) from profiting from all of this.

On the other hand, I love the idea of seeing Trump lose another court case.

I doubt the fact that getting to Trump is almost certainly going to require us to get into bed with some very disreputable people is a coincidence.

Trump built a wall of dirt around himself hoping the Democrats wouldn't want to get dirty to get to him.

I think what he's been trying to say, in his own incompetent way, is that we're doing better at controlling the virus than other countries and we have a lower rate of infection than any other country, but those other countries are doing a lot less testing than we are, so it lets them conceal how heavily infected they are and obscures how great we are.
It's complete BS, with no facts to back it up, but I think that's where he's going.
