Another Antifa Call for Violence

I think it takes an awful lot of pixels to counter-balance one fascist president.
What is happening in the streets right now is more effective than any pixel game. The "self-confidence" of neo-nazis is waning rapidly, but I am not sure that it will make them any less violent in the near future.

Is this going to be one of those beautiful moments of irony where it turns out that 1) you are not, in fact, participating in what is happening in the streets, 2) many of the people helping to restore the canvas after fascist vandalism are participating in what is happening in the streets, and 3) all you are, in fact, participating in is "pixel games" (making pixels appear in a certain fashion on a website called "international skeptics forum") complaining about others cleaning up fascist vandalism in a different "pixel game"?

Roofing company workers forced onto ground, held at gunpoint by man who thought they were Antifa

The incident unfolded after the man called police, said there were two men wearing masks near his home, and announced he was armed and going to go confront them, Loveland Police Lt. Bob Shaffer confirmed to 9Wants to Know.

When officers arrived in the 2400 block of Dawn Court around 6 p.m. Thursday, they encountered Scott Gudmundsen (pictured) – dressed in fatigues and holding two men on the ground at gunpoint, Shaffer said.

But the men weren’t troublemakers – they work for a local roofing company and were wearing blue polo shirts with the firm’s name on them, shorts, tennis shoes and white surgical-style masks, Shaffer said.

One of them is a Colorado State University football player who is 20 years old and works part-time at the roofing company. The student is a "man of color," according to a statement from the university.

Loveland, not feeling the love, apparently. Hail damage is very common here in late spring and early summer. It is normal for them to go door to door offering to do inspections. Normal for entire neighborhoods to all need new roof shingles all at once. Hail in Colorado can be a sight to behold.

What the hell is that supposed to mean? (sorry, that's rhetorical)

But I do want to know, since when has the second amendment come to mean "We have to shoot someone we don't like?"

I thought the point of the 2A was to allow citizens to protect themselves from the tyranny of the government? Since when is a vigilante lynch mob a well-regulated militia?
Since the loons, gunfondlers and assorted not-really-nazis got involved.

The man with the SS tattoo, originally thought to be a cop, has been charged with impersonating a police officer. He joined in the police skirmish line during the protests and falsely identified as some form of federal law enforcement.

With an SS tattoo and armed with an AR-15 rifle, I bet he was there to defend the Constitution. Does anybody know if the wife he mentioned actually exists?

It's an interesting statement about racism in this country that the SS tattoo actually could be explained by his military service.

Marine Scout Snipers use the SS, exactly the same style as the notorious Nazi org, as their unofficial logo. It's been a matter of public scandal before when US military members have been seen with the logo.

I suppose it makes sourcing flags and patches easy.

Ya, that Midwestern Association of Soccer Scholars, informally known as the Kansas Knowledgable Kickers, faced a similar inexplicable name association dilemma

Columbus Police Seize Bus Filled with Riot Equipment in Downtown Area (TheSciotoPost, June 1, 2020)

And then ...

The tweet and Facebook post have thousands of retweets and “likes” with people using it as an example of violent rioters at protests.
(…)
Sen. Marco Rubio retweeted the police department’s photo, using it to criticize what he claims is an organized effort to incite violence at protests.
(…)
Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther also tweeted about the bus, saying “the limited arrests to this point do not reflect the significant safety concerns we have for the city.”
“I would point to the recovery of a bus registered in Vermont filled with bats, rocks, meat cleavers and axes on Sunday night,” Ginther tweeted.
(…)
Digati is part of a group who perform “flow arts,” an act that usually includes dance, juggling and spinning fire, her friend Stephen Palmer told Columbus Alive.
Colorful bus had ‘riot’ gear, Ohio cops say. Protesters say they’re ‘helpful hippies’ (StarTelegram, June 12, 2020)

Are we allowed to say that the Columbus PD have beclowned themselves?

Dave

No, but you are allowed to say that the Columbus PD has engaged in a successful propaganda effort to spread fake news about "organized efforts to incite violence at protests" all the while retaining plausible deniability ("but we were just clowns, we had no idea!")

And a story from Ohio. Conservative readers should be warned that it may not be a good idea to jump to conclusions halfway through the story. Right wing counterprotesters committing acts of violence yet again.

While initial reporting stated that the mob attacked the man and he may have acted in self defense, further video shows that he initiated violence and the crowd have good, lawful reason to forcibly detain him.

Here is video showing the shooter assaulting a protester immediately before he was ejected from the crowd and he opened fire.

His dad is a cop. He name drops the sheriffs office as he's being arrested.

Must have been where he learned to shoot unarmed people.

I can see why they want to get rid of the statue of Oñate:

Today Oñate is known for the 1599 Acoma Massacre. Following a dispute that led to the death of thirteen Spaniards at the hands of the Ácoma, including Oñate's nephew, Juan de Zaldívar, Oñate ordered a brutal retaliation against Acoma Pueblo. The Pueblo was destroyed. Around 800–1000 Ácoma were killed. Of the 500 or so survivors, at a trial at Ohkay Owingeh, Oñate sentenced most to twenty years of forced "personal servitude" and additionally mandated that all men over the age of twenty-five have a foot cut off. He was eventually banished from New Mexico and exiled from Mexico City for five years, convicted by the Spanish government of using "excessive force" against the Acoma people.

US attorney announces the gunman who allegedly killed two law enforcement officers in California was associated with the right-wing Boogaloo movement. A patch bearing the group’s symbol was found in the van used by the shooter in Oakland and Santa Cruz killings

Confirmation of what was already widely suspected, the man that killed 2 cops and shot others was a right winger aligned with the "Boogaloo" community.

These antifascist super soldiers really need to get their act together, right wingers are totally stealing the "domestic terrorist" spotlight in this whole BLM thing.

I miss the days when right wing loons used to try to arrest police instead of join them.

Has nobody claimed that it was a false-flag antifa operation yet?

Do Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates often go there to walk their own dogs? :)
No.

I saw Steve Ballmer once at the high-end food court in one of the group of three downtown malls.

Otherwise I've never seen any other billionaires I recognize.
