Just declare martial law and go full tinpot already.

This cowardly weakling, this self-righteous phony, bloviating with a bible like a tv preacher, has got to go. The senate had its chance not too long ago, and were exposed as obsequious weaklings as well. It's not just this current act as a banana republic strongman; let's not forget his absolute bungle of a pandemic response.

Eric Trump's stupid tweet about his father's "strong response" indicates that these useless plutocrats and their worthless progeny are actually frightened at the idea that citizens are getting fed up with their nonsense, and might even hold them accountable.

Slim indeed. About 1 complaint per month about him *plus* a previous death.

Officer charged in George Floyd’s death used fatal force before and had history of complaints. Linky-poo. If that is behind a paywall for you, there are plenty of other sites with the same info.

Always have, even when I thought of him as the enemy, but he was always an enemy with principles, and he just writes well. And he's a Cubs fan, so that's good enough in most cases to overlook his faults. The above column gives his current opinion of Donald Trump.

I like Will, even when I've disagreed with him in the past. Hard to disagree with him much lately.

Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde from the Episcopal Diocese of WA just said Trump 'used a Bible, a sacred text of the Judeo-Christian traditon, and one of the churches of my diocese without permission as a backdrop for a message antithetical to the teachings of Jesus and everything that our churches stand for.... I am outraged. The president did not pray when he came to St. John's nor, as you just articulated, did he acknowledge the agony of our country right now and, in particular that of the people of color in our nation who wonder if anyone ever in public power will ever acknowledge their shape and worth and who are rightfully demanding the end of 400 years worth of systemic racism."
