He will deny that it is what he meant. It's along the lines of "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?"
I think Trump just signalled the gun-toting right wingers to take to the streets and start shooting protesters?
To paraphrase part of his rose garden speech today:
"... using all federal resources, civilian and military...(blah blah).... and to protect the rights of law abiding citizens, including your second amendment rights..."
Why else would he even make mention of the 2nd amendment in this situation? Also when he said "second amendment rights", he added emphasis into his voice to draw attention to those particular words in the same way he adds emphasis when he says "Chy-nah".
Did your president just incite civilian bloodshed by way of people exercising their 2A rights to put a stop to the protests?
Anyone else catch this 2A mention and found it an odd/eerie thing to say?
That was surreal. Peaceful protesters attacked by military thugs, all staged for the banana republican and his re-election photo op.

The radical-left formally divorced itself from America last night. They are domestic terrorists and enemies of the United States. They should be treated as such.

I see your point and acknowledge it. I just had to look at it from a broader perspective.
It's exactly this attitude that makes political compromise lethal on the right. The view that ones political opposition are "domestic terrorists and enemies" makes compromise something to be avoided at almost any cost. And now we have a president who encourages such thinking.
We can't get rid of him soon enough. Once his mouth is gone, the far right will be easier to deal with. "Easier" but not easy.
The Southern Strategy wasn't focused on people upset about the riots.
He also talked on the phone to Floyd's family, but monologued rather than letting them speak.
That must have been a real Downfall moment for those present.
As Gov. Cuomo said, Trump just used the US military against its own citizens...peaceful citizens... for the first time since 1807 just so he could get a pic of himself holding up a bible at a church. Disgusting.
Wait, aren't the police part of the executive branch? They enforce the laws, after all.
