Biden for President?

A witness to the accident said Mrs. Biden was stopped before pulling out into the intersection. She did not run the stop sign. Regardless, she was still at fault as Mr. Dunn did not have a stop sign. He had the right of way.

Biden has not been 'slandering' Dunn. He repeated what he had been told by people he assumed would know and apparently believed. There are only TWO known incidents of him mentioning Mr. Dunn being drunk 6 years apart. That is hardly "spending years slandering" Dunn. Get a grip.

There was an official investigation. Why didn't he assume the official investigators would know?

Those are just "experts." What do they know.

Meanwhile "people are saying..." so I'll just repeat the highly volatile things they said without verifying first. Surely nothing will go wrong.

And if you were too speak up, back then Just hating 18 in time I have news.

You are why we spoke up this, You are who we trust.

If you need to vote early, do it.

If you have to mail, do it.

Gee, I dunno. Maybe he was too busy mourning the loss of his wife and baby daughter. Maybe he was too busy with two boys lying in the hospital with severe injuries including broken bones and a head injury. As he said, he "never pursued it". Did it really matter? What could he have done as the "official investigation" did not include testing Dunn for his alcohol level?

You are clearly still trying to portray Biden as lying about and slandering Dunn. Just stop it.

ETA: Delphic Oracle, the same goes for you. Competent "experts" would have tested Dunn for alcohol.

It wasn't "people are saying"; it was the police at the scene of the accident.

To be honest, those of us in fire-rescue here in Delaware assumed that Mr. Dunn had been drinking, based on comments made by police officers at the scene.

So there is no way your claim is true.

Well that just can't be right. SuburbanTurkey says truth and fairness are principals he holds dear, despite already being caught making stuff up about Biden having dementia. So there's just no way this could be another fabrication.

That is a quote of second hand reports of comments made by those who were there and even those people didn't know.

It doesn't get much more "people are saying" than that.

ETA: was going to add that it was journalistically reckless to use that quote when I realized...its a blog post.

GTFOOH with that. Your confirmation bias is showing.

No. That is the statement of a responder who was at the scene of the accident and heard what the police were saying. You know, someone who was actually there. Did you even bother to read the link?

My confirmation bias is showing? Look in a damn mirror.

There's no better possible summation than that for the last few pages of this thread that have suddenly erupted since the last time I looked. The facts of the latest newest thing to come out just happen to conveniently line up to go along with the same overall conclusion as before, for everybody on any side. Wow, what a shock. (We need a smiley with a flat mouth here.)

So, here's a slightly different way to join the club and do a version creative unique of the same thing! Instead of saying the latest new thing happens to lead me to agreeing with what I already thought before and thus showing a significant probably that I actually interpreted it according to what I already thought because I don't really care what the truth is on the latest new thing, I'll just go ahead & say from the start that I don't care what the truth is on the latest new thing.

I don't need to (or feel any urge to) reach a conclusion about it either way because it really makes no difference in the big picture. Captain Electable's candidacy and marginally-possible election will still have precisely the same significance to my country and others that they would have had before this subject was ever brought to my attention, because he still politically supports what he supports, opposes what he opposes, and represents what he represents, including if I were to bother looking into this stuff and conclude that the people I've been disagreeing with before are actually right on this one.

Yall have just added about 5% to the thread in about a day arguing over the colors of the cocktail umbrellas on a whole fleet of Titanics on a collision course with Iceland.

I would dearly love to see Joe Biden record a video statement where he explains that his research of the sight lines, weather conditions, and EMT opinions has led him to believe that the formal investigation got it wrong. And that this research is what justifies him spending years slandering the truck driver and blaming him for the deaths of his loved ones.

I take it you haven't been reading much in the thread or you'd know this was bull ****.

Would you prefer bleu cheese or ranch with this word salad?

That is still a second-hand account. Worse still, a second hand account of idle chit-chat at an accident scene.

A full investigation cleared him.

But whatever. This guy's memory being tarnished will go on the altar with the rest of the offerings.

No slander is too low in the face of the party's indomitable will.

You know, you can always vote Trump.

I'm just doing my part to help you guys from not ******* up again.
Candidates who at least pay lip service to progressive values seem to have done well.

How's the other thing been working out so far?

:9

Who is "you guys" by the way?

My opinion is my own.

I have no tribe to turn off my brain and reflexively defend when referred to.

You Americans who get a vote in the election that affects everyone.
