And who did that?
What evidence do you have that people criticizing Hillary Clinton caused her to lose? Or is it simply that the risk is too great to the holy cause to permit lese majeste of the anointed one?
Stifling criticism and demanding loyalty is rank tribalism, and if your "side" has to resort to that to win then it doesn't deserve to win.
Don't you think it's time to let that notion go and move on?There's always the option of running a candidate who's reputation isn't a pile of flaming trash. Even among the wretched centrist dems this election cycle, Biden was an outstandingly poor candidate.
[snipped Clinton bashing]
I hope Biden wins.
Still not going to lie for him. The dude sucks and seems determined to make this easy win a close match.
It didn't help that Democrats and other liberals demonized her, amplifying the alt-right social media doing the same.
There were a dozen different things, this was one of them.
There were a few campaign missteps, IMO. And I said that well before the election, not in hindsight.I... I don't think her losing was caused by anything she did wrong or could have averted. ...

Ah, the constant refrain of Team Clinton: Problem? Shut up and move on! Next you'll be asking us, at this point what difference does it make?
In all fairness, it really is time to stop thinking that if we all hold our breath until we turn blue those meanies who count the votes will change their minds and let Sanders be the candidate.
I'm not a Sanders conspiracy theorist. He ran a good campaign and didn't get enough votes. These things happen.
I'm curious how many times the party can run losing candidates before the average primary voter realizes that the pundits don't really know what "electable" even means anymore.
I think a lot of people picked Joe because he was the safe choice, which seems to be pretty far from the truth.
I'm glad to see that you have changed your mind from a week ago when you were calling for Biden to drop out which I'm sure I wasn't alone in seeing as a way to get Sanders in.
I think the criticism is that Hillary based her campaign strategy on the premise that she had statistical models that accurately predicted how the electoral votes would fall. That's why she didn't campaign harder in certain swing states, even though she was getting information from other sources that indicated that might be a good thing to do.I don't think failure to predict how the electoral votes will fall is really something to criticize any candidate for. It's one of those things that nobody knows until it happens, and sometimes everybody gets surprised. In hindsight it's easy to say "oh, they should have done X, or Y" but that's hindsight. Going into the final vote I'm pretty sure both sides did everything they could have reasonably done, with the knowledge they had at the time. I don't like Hillary Clinton, and I wish she'd won, but I don't think her losing was caused by anything she did wrong or could have averted. I think it was Captain Picard who said something like how you can make all the right moves and still lose. (Perhaps he was comforting Geordie on striking out with yet another woman.)

I think he should drop out because he is ... by the Kavanaugh-Ford standard, credibly accused of forcible sexual assault.
I think he should drop out because he is a weak candidate and, by the Kavanaugh-Ford standard, credibly accused of forcible sexual assault.
This isn't motivated by some conspiracy that Bernie was cheated out of the nomination, but rather motivated by a desire to win the general election.
Shallow rorschach.I think he should drop out because he is a weak candidate and, by the Kavanaugh-Ford standard, credibly accused of forcible sexual assault.

Then Trump's win is your fault, for not contacting Clinton to share your wisdom.
I tried, no one listened.
