Yeah. That's just one of those things that makes his China attack ads about Biden particularly nonsensical.

Because if they manage to get him involved in a full blown continuous twitter battle, they might be able to constantly point to and expose his idiocy even more and better, and drag him deeper and deeper into implosion. And they also show, at least on this battlefield, that they are capable too.

Of course, they need someone who is able to put out smart, sharp, and incisive but not dump and stupid tweets. It doesn't matter who it is behind the scenes. I am sure that Trump does not come up with all the nicknames by himself. And some of them are really good, like wuhan health organization. It's wrong for sure, but it's good and catchy. The Dems need someone like that too.

Honestly, the first candidate that came to mind there was... AOC. Seems like AOC and her office are rather busy, though.

AOC's Office is now personally calling Constituents to see if they need Medication or Groceries.

Also, I think that Cuomo's response to McConnell's dastardly blue states go bankrupt BS was pretty great.

Lots of good stuff, but daring McConnell to pass a law to allow states to declare bankruptcy and truthfully calling Kentucky a massive taker and New York a massive giver and saying that New York is just asking for its money back were both pretty great points.

I watched the press conference held in the Oval Office today. Trump said something about washing hands gets rid of the virus. The way he said it made it sound like this is some new info. He also said he asked them to look into if disinfectant works on the hands. Damn he is stupid.

Well according to them he was being sarcastic.

That wasn't apparent to me from the tone, content or context of his remarks but then again we British are notoriously poor at sarcasm.

He simply latches on to the last idea that someone told him that gets eyes back on him. He does that at his rallies too - lists some talking topics until the audience responds, then riffs on those. It's juvenile attention-seeking behaviour (actually, more like publicly ******** on stage - horrific but unmissable). This bleach idea has given him column-inches and tweet-likes again, and eyes away from Cuomo and Birx. That's all he wanted.

I used to work with someone who in my opinion (shared by most coworkers) was a pathological liar. He was very good at lying with a straight face, and many of his lies were bragging about himself. But he would mix in enough truth that you couldn't always be sure, and he was a fairly intelligent person who rarely said anything stupid. Trump can't even do that. Pretty much everything that comes from him is lies, and if it isn't a lie, then it's stupidity.
