Not so! After all Trump has told us that he'd have done nothing differently re the coronavirus even if he hadn't been impeached! It was already a 10 out of 10 so nothing more could have been done than what he did. It was PERFECT just like his letter! :rolleyes:

In times of crisis the President always gets a boost.
If only Trump could act presidential instead of like a petulant child, it might work for him, too.
 
Florida received 100 percent of its requests of critical medical equipment from a national stockpile. Oklahoma and Kentucky received more than they requested. Illinois, Massachusetts and Maine got only a fraction of their requests

according to sources with knowledge of the offer. Avery Cohen, a spokesperson for the office of Mayor Bill de Blasio confirmed the general arrangement, but said that it was not “Covid-specific,” noting that prisoners have been digging graves on Hart Island for years.

So maybe it's a BS story and/or we should wait for more information.
 
I wonder if Trump's soberness is due to tens of thousans of Americans dying or due to the impact that ewill have on his reelection prospects.

Not a very smart tactic if his goal is to get re-elelcted.

I mean, it makes sense for Florida... they are a swing state. But Oklahoma and Kentucky are going to vote Republican even if Trump personally went into their hospitals and personally unplugged ventilators from Covid-19 patients.

Supposedly Maine, Michigan and Colorado are also getting short-changed on supplies, and those states may be quite competitive... it would make more sense for Trump to give every possible ventilator and mask to those states.
