Exactly. Which was precisely the point I also posted.
Which was also not an answer to the question actually asked. You answered a question you liked better. And you are projecting again.

Read more carefully: is it illegal to make such a request? I'd be interested in the wording of said law.
Civil Rights Acts, as we all should know, are limited in policing behaviors. Many posters think they make any kind of bigotry illegal. They do not.

This thread is still going? By my count, everything worth saying was said in the first two pages. If didn't get what you wanted then, you're not going to get it now. Why even bother?
Thread length is often inversely proportional to what can be usefully discussed. How long is the Thunberg thread now? I haven't had the heart to visit it.

"It may have sounded racist but I was only kidding you and the other liberals here to stir you guys up."
I'm not sure that comes off well either.

People have risked their careers, their physical safety and even their lives to fight the battle against racism. Even when it appeared that they could never succeed. Yet they did succeed in substantial ways. I am forever grateful to them. I hope I have their courage. Her fans keep putting her up for ridicule.
Do you think someone should risk their livelihood, to prolong a fight with a racist?
Mr Giordano sir. Hommes. As I am 4% Jewish according to my DNA test, may I address you as my Hebrew Amigo?
I beg of you to read posts 140, 141, and 143 of Lo this very thread. Please read them carefully. Get assistance if needed.
No matter how dim witted one claims to be, it is rather sledgehammeringly obvious that I am being facetious. I responded directly to you saying I was Devil's Advocating for JoeMorgue's old-man-screaming-at -clouds post. It was strictly for him, not to stir anyone else up. Dear God, I think he even understood that.
I think your zeal to see me in an unfavorable light is clouding your reading comprehension.
I read them initially and now re-read them. Sorry I could not get assistance, but from my own low level comprehension I still can’t buy the “facetious” argument. But as the MA mandates that I can’t assign motivations to posters...

I like how "Ewww mass produced non-artisan chain restaurant food" is a bigger sin then racism for a lot of people.

Good thing he didn't get a look at the cook
What I always hated was people who wanted a 'Red Wine" or a "White Wine" and when given the options outright refused to choose one. "Any one" or "You choose for me", some of them could get quite belligerent when asked to choose. But if I picked it for them and they didn't like it, it's my fault.
That is one way of doing it.I can understand that if faced with a list of wines you've never tasted before (or don't remember tasting anyway) you might not know which one to pick, but in that case you probably shouldn't complain if you ask the waiter to pick for you.
(Idea: you could say (even if it isn't true) something like "well, OK, but just so you know, I'm a teetotaler so I've never tasted any of these wines and I have no idea how any of them taste. Do you still want me to choose for you?" You could leave out the part about being a teetotaler I suppose. Another idea is just go with whatever the most expensive one on the menu is.)
