Yes. Literally repeating Trump word for word and saying that he said what he said is a lie, according to your standards, by the look of it. Along those lines, if he does something bad and he gets called on it, that's lies, too.

Similarly, when, for example, Trump claims that US Steel is opening 6 new plants (it had 4 plants, so that would be a rather absurdly incredible expansion to take advantage of the small marginal increase in profits from those initial tariffs) and no one with power at US Steel had any idea what he was talking about, normal people would consider that to be a lie. The steel industry's small boost by tariff has been outweighed by the losses caused by other tariffs now, incidentally, and US Steel is actually closing a plant now.

and their corrupt mainstream media action arm didn't prevent him from being elected, and the Impeachment Hoax made him more popular, not less. It's not just me knowing what we are hearing from them is nothing more than propaganda, but enough Americans to reelect him. I do feel sorry for the poor dupes who have allowed themselves to be brainwashed by fake news and our "educational" system.

I wonder if you'll ever get tired of being such an easy dupe. I have some simple advice. Try to learn what the actual biases, methodologies, driving forces, and objectives are when it comes to different media outlets and you won't be so easily duped. You'll also come to understand that right-wing sources like the ones you keep linking to are some of the least trustworthy and reliable sources of them all. MSM outlets like CNN are at least forced to uphold some standards of accuracy in what they report, for example, even if there are some notable things worth keeping in mind and being wary about when looking at CNN. Right-wing media largely doesn't even have serious standards when it comes to accuracy. Quite literally, even the "news" part of Fox News slips in outright partisan lies and caricatures pretty much everyday and the "opinion" part of Fox News is much, much worse. Breitbart's even worse.

Unfortunately, I more or less agree with this sentiment. Trump losing in a narrow election is not enough to defeat the cultists. They will not become disillusioned -- quite the contrary, Trumpism will still have a soft-glow of what could have been. A spectacular economic crash, however, is not good for the country, nor Trump adding more justices and judges.

Bush World was replaced with Trump World, so I don't want to think who could come next. One of the prediction markets currently has Trump winning in November 56 to 45.

I misread this as "trumpets" and was thinking "that's probably true of every government everywhere" then thought "maybe not, maybe there's a country somewhere that actually stockpiles trumpets instead of weapons" and how horrible it would be to fight them. If the "mainstream media" is nothing but lies and fake news, what are your sources of information about the world?

And if Trump is defeated, he might not refuse to accept it. But he can do enormous damage between Election Day and the inauguration, and after beating his impeachment there is no mechanism to stop him.

I said the mainstream media was corrupt, not "nothing but lies and fake news", although those descriptors certainly apply to some of what they publish, and that means they can't be trusted. For example, the corrupt mainstream media, along with Schiff and company, lied about the Trump phone call with Ukraine daily for months, and they had the transcript of the call so they knew they were lying. I had the transcript, too, so I knew they were lying.

Oh, if Trump isn't reelected, I doubt he'll come anywhere close to the damage Obama did between the election and the inauguration. It's all going to come out in the Durham report.
