Which was not "the claim". I never said word one about him being a billionaire. I don't care about that. It was that he started a bank. Banks are not good, and people who start them are not doing a good thing for the public. It's not something a progressive would boast about.

What you said about the bank was low-information. Sorry you prefer to absorb your knowledge from words like, "started a bank".

Progressives are against banks now? :boggled:

"Banks are not good" and you don't think that's a low-information assumption?

Thanks for just confirming my opinion you just don't like and kind of private enterprise. You seem to want total state control of everything.

I think you are probably more radical then Bernie. Your spouting of the Marx surprise value crap shows that.

So I just list a bunch of serious fairness problems and you come back and tell me that I don’t like any kind of private enterprise and want total state control. Fascinating.

I wonder if Klobuchar will drop out. A fifth place finish doesn't bode well. I cant see her getting past Biden and Bloomberg for the center-left vote.

I misread the returns. I didn't realize Biden was running fourth. In terms of expectations, Klobuchar is doing well, not all that far behind Biden in the results, coming from very low expectations.

Still, fifth is fifth. its not good.

I disagree.

Sorry you prefer to absorb your knowledge from words like, "started a bank".

I don't think that's what I did. I'm not certain what you even mean with such a garbled hash of a sentence, but it looks like yet another of your psychic claims to know what other people are thinking and why.

Progressives are against banks now? :boggled:

The banking industry is the main separator between the progressive wing of the Democratic Party like Warren and the "centrists" like Clinton and Biden. How have you not noticed this? The CFPB Warren is the enemy of the banks and they are right to fear her. Whereas they adore Clinton and Biden, who managed over the years to do so much to their advantage.

Banks are not good, but you don't think that's a low-information assumption?

Obviously not.

Nope that Bernie who has been an indepdent all his career, has all of a sudden become a Democrat...just like a certain ex reality show host.
One of his biggest backer here just bragged that Bernie was not a Democrat.

Lol I was having fun with a stupid trope. A ridiculous distraction that people have been using to avoid discussion of the problems that Bernie has been highlighting as things he aims to fix. To focus on that is too hard and exposes some. Glad you liked it though.

Overtly comparing him to Trump and clutching pearls over something a supporter of his said.

I now understand why you say GOP attacks on him will work. They worked on you.

Quotes aren't mathematics. You can't add quotes that don't say what you want and then claim that they collectively do.

Sure you can. Read one of them and you see dudalb thinks Sanders has no chance in the general. Read another one and it's because he thinks Sanders is too far left. Read another and he's bemoaning the fact that progressives are supporting him. It's not that hard to put it all together, really.

ETA: I skimmed over your comment the first time around and didn't notice your claim "that don't say what you want". Of course, I disagree with that. They say precisely what I claimed they would say. It's not my fault you refuse to acknowledge that.

Admit it: your claim is based on interpreting dudalb's posts; reading between the lines i.e. adding information that isn't there. Now, you might be right that he thinks that, but you cannot show that he said it, because he didn't.

Not in the slightest. To the contrary, you didn't think I could back up my claim, and you simply refuse to acknowledge the fact that I did back it up.

It's your reaction. Instead of just answering the question, as another poster did, you took it as some sort of an argument. It wasn't.

It wasn't relevant. I pointed that out. Get over it.

The more I think about, the more I am troubled by the idea of both our major parties being taken over by an outside coup.I wonder if we might not be looking at the end of the two party system in the US, with both major parties discredited in the eyes of many voters.

That would be a positive development. Sadly, I think the parties would just seize control of the process and only allow party die-hards to have any influence.

...For starters almost all polls will use registered voters instead of likely voters; this results in a slight edge to Democrats that they will lose at the polls since Republicans are more likely to vote.

Interesting. Do you have a cite. I hasten to add, It's not that I don't believe you,l I'd just like to read more about the difference.

The problem is that we have freedom of association and the right to participate in democratic process.

If parties can say no to a person putting their name on a ballot, they will have already hijacked democracy anyways.

It's the voters who are supposed to say no to the coup.

ALl I can say is if Bernie wins. the pressure will be on him to show he can beat Trump in November, and he and his supporters will have to come up with much better evidence then they have shown so far. Something better then the Lost Tribe school of politics.

Allegedly Bloomberg has been paying staffers up to $140,000.

That's unbelievable. He's been able to absorb staff from fallen campaigns apparently.

If Biden does fold, I wonder who will be the next Democrat to be the target of the Bernie bros two minute hate.

We're all pulling for Comrade Bernie to get the nomination, even though 2 of his staffers have been caught on tape planning to put us in gulags. They have other plans, too.

Have they? The article starts with this:
James O’Keefe of Project Veritas...

Do you have any idea how little credibility O’Keefe and Project Veritas have with videos they produce. Here's a clue: It almost reaches the Outer Core of the Earth.

And now I read that the actual results are delayed. I was looking at a New York Times feed of something, but I'm not sure what. Other sources say no results are in.

Stupid computers. Never trust an "app".

Oh, well. Bedtime. I'll see who did well in the morning.
