Plus the claim "Biden interceded to get a prosecutor who was going after Burisma removed" when it was the opposite of that.

By the way, here's some more information on some of the DoJ's impediments to releasing information:

From: https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/jasonleopold/mueller-report-secret-memos-4
A judge directed the agencies to turn over 500 pages of interview summaries every month. The first batch of documents from Mueller’s cache was produced in November 2019 and another batch last month. Earlier this month, the agencies were supposed to begin turning over the summaries that were shared with the Judiciary Committee, but turned over only part, citing an “internal misunderstanding.”

So, the DoJ failed in following the judges orders, explaining that it was an "oopsie". Certainly not a great start.

...government lawyers had claimed in court that the interview summaries were tens of thousands of pages...the FBI disclosed for the first time to BuzzFeed News and CNN that the interview summaries were in fact only 5,373 typewritten pages in total...

So, an outright lie about just how much material there was (in an attempt to suggest there's "too much to turn over in a timely fashion".

Hell at this point dig up Epstein and put his corpse right up there on the dais, Pope Formosus style.

You know the president who is totally not a racist, but still thinks those money-loving jews should vote for him?

Well, there's this:

From: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...ntisemitism-jew-coup-press-pass-a9303811.html
To coordinate coverage of Donald Trump’s trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the White House provided press passes to the usual mix of American news organisations, including Fox News, Reuters and The New York Times. One media outlet stood out: TruNews... TruNews, which Mr Wiles founded as an online radio program in 1999 called America’s Hope, has a history of spreading conspiracy theories and proclaiming an imminent apocalypse. It drew more scrutiny in November after Mr Wiles, in an online video, accused Jewish people of orchestrating Mr Trump’s impeachment. “That’s the way Jews work,” Mr Wiles said. “They are deceivers. They plot, they lie, they do whatever they have to do to accomplish their political agenda. This ‘Impeach Trump’ movement is a Jew coup, and the American people better wake up to it really fast.”

Keep in mind that this is the same white house that tried to revoke the credentials of CNN journalists. Its the same white house that has been accused of being cozy with various conspiracy theorists in the past. Its the same white house that has been accused of racism. You figure they would at least try to look not racist.

Reminds me of Bush's Jeff Gannon, the fake reporter at the WH press conferences planted to ask certain questions.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone heard Joe or Hunter Biden say they can't wait to testify under oath at the Trump impeachment trial to clear up the allegations of corruption?

Assuming (yeah, this is a BIG assumption) that the corruption you refer to is that which Trump is on trial for...

People having nothing to do with the President's actions and who cannot have any evidence to provide on Trump's actions are supposed to be giddy at the prospect of testifying about which they have no direct knowledge???

Yet it raises no questions for you that the person on trial who claims his innocence to high heaven will not testify on his own behalf? Or even let those witnesses he would claim would exonerate him anywhere near the stand?

Seems like a rather inside-out way to look at it.

Now, seeing it's more likely you mean corruption by the Bidens (of which there is zero evidence at this juncture), that would be addressed by a *separate* investigation, and *separate* trial if charges resulted.

The Bidens have no place in Trump's trial. Except as a distraction to draw away attention from the actual defendant.

The allegations are not by any law enforcement or investigatory body.

They have no allegations that need clearing up.

Trump asked Zelensky to do the investigation, probably because his people are more suited to the task because they live there and have the ability to speak and read Ukrainian, and Russian when necessary. Also, we have a treaty to cooperate in corruption investigations.

But Trump tells us he believed Ukraine was rotten with corruption, and he was so concerned about it that he held up the Congressionally approved aid. Yet you posit that in spite of that Trump would now trust Ukraine to do a better investigation than his own DOJ under Barr (his new Roy Cohn.)

Like all defenders of Dear Leader, you have to adopt this kind of cognitive dissonance in order to mesh disparate and incompatible reasoning.

Pam Bondi made a good case today about the Bidens' corruption. Joe and Hunter flying to Ukraine on Air Force 2 to engage in extortion made quite a statement. Puzzling why fake news avoids this subject like the Coronavirus, is it not?

As far as Trump working with Zelensky goes, he was a new president, one who promised reforms:

Zelensky’s anti-corruption Program
Here are the key steps:

Ensure real independence of the entire chain of anti-corruption agencies: in particular, anti-corruption agencies must be established through an independent international selection committee;
Remove immunity from legal proceedings for politicians;
Establish the High Economic Court;
Take away the power to investigate economic crimes from police forces, such as the Ukraine Security Service, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Interior Ministry, and transfer these powers to a new agency for economic investigations;
Decriminalize economic activity as much as possible and introduce financial and administrative fines for economic crimes, and keep track of public officials who harass businesses;
Strengthen penalties for public officials involved in corruption through demanding their voluntary resignation; confiscating their assets and placing a life ban on taking on any public office; courts are prohibited from releasing corrupt officials on bail;
E-government: the largest possible number of public services to business should be moved online;
Involve citizens in denouncing corruption through a system of rewards;
Ask Western law enforcement agencies to investigate Ukrainian officials who, according to Ukrainian anti-corruption agencies, are involved in corruption.

What does this have to do with Trump using Congressionally authorized funds as leverage to coerce a foreign government into investigating his political rivals and then covering up his actions by obstructing any oversight?

Also, when you say "made a good case" do you mean "heavily insinuated it without providing a single shred of evidence" or was there, y'know...actual evidence?

Joe Biden was the VP. So what his son flew with him to the Ukraine.

Where's the beef?

Mountains of corroborating evidence against Trump gets a "not sure yet."

Biden and son flew someplace together is incontrovertible proof.

What's sad is how many people capable of good judgment this mass psychosis can claim.

And in case anyone's forgotten, Bondi accepted a substantial illegal campaign contribution from Trump's "charity" and immediately turned around and dropped her state's investigation of Trump's "university".

I wish you would apply the standard of corruption you're using against Joe Biden to Donald Trump. If you truly believe she made a good case against the Bidens, man oh man, you must believe Trump is neck-deep (and keep in mind he reportedly gained an inch of height in his seventies).

It's pretty easy to understand what was meant by the "caused huge economic damage to his follower’s pocketbooks". All you have to do is stop tying so hard to deliberately misunderstand it.

Speaking of misunderstanding, I didn't ask you to define "huge economic damage", rather I asked for evidence of such damage.

Since, apparently, his "followers" are a well defined group and that they have suffered "huge economic damage", it should be duck soup to identify them and show those damages.

Have at it.

You're a 'glass is half full" kinda guy, aren't ya?

But as far as economic predictions, my record speaks for itself. You can use the search feature and see any economic predictions I have made.

I accepted your nice suggestion and did a search on '"sir drinks-a-lot" +economic +predictions' and got ZERO results.

Well, by golly, you're right. You've made no bad economic predictions. The fact that you've made none is beside the point, right?
