Err... not quite, at last check. He's doing what he's doing to try to prevent a normal drop while he's on top as a matter of propping up support for himself. He just doesn't care if the methods used are irresponsible and are eliminating the tools to stabilize and cushion the next drop when it comes.

“Krugman likely has a deeper understanding of Economics than the President or an average person on the internet.” is not an Appeal to Authority.

It would be one thing if Sir Drinks a Lot said he disagrees with Paul Krugman on the economy. Even if he has no academic qualifications he could be right abd Krugman could be wong. Being a professor at MIT or winning the Nobel prize in economics doesn't make him infallible.

That said, the idea that someone of Krugman's very substantial accomplishments is an idiot is risible on the face of it. Especially when it comes from Trump or some random guy who goes by the name of Sir Drinks a Lot.

At this point, to me, the only thing to do is just annoy the **** out of President Trump. Someone needs to respond to this post by saying “Trump is saying stuff like that because he is jealous: Bolton can write a book and Trump can’t. Heck, Bolton can read a book and Trump can’t.”

It is not productive in any way, but it is truthful.

Why would they do that? They are not on trial and have not been charged with anything. And even if they had the impeachment of Trump due to his own actions would still be valid.
