Conservatives aren't fascists. Trumptrash are fascists. I still believe it's possible to be conservative and a patriot. It's not possible to support Trump and be a patriot though. Trumptrash just aren't as good as Americans.

As a third party watcher of the Sierra Hotel India Tango show going down to my immediate south, I genuinely despair over the real possibility of the American Experiment's imminent demise.

Head-in the-sand avoidance of reality, promulgation of nutbar conspiracy theories, the cleaving to Russian whataboutism and deflection, gaslighting, the cultish adherence to a person, the inability to eschew their 'God-given Guns' and a not-far-from-majority of citizens unable to separate religion from the State spell the potential descent into the Hell of authoritarian despotism.

To the deniers who say, "It can't happen here!"... It already is happening. You just don't feel it yet because you're not the first getting the chop.

Perhaps you need to look up the practice of "democracy" as it occurs in countries where the political structure has evolved from British roots - namely that the side with the most votes (ie. the majority) sets the policy while the side(s) with the lower number of votes (ie. the Minority) does not.

If your contention is that those persons whose politics are to the left of your own are not democrats then I'm afraid we're going to need to see your sources on that.
