Course not. That is yet another random superstition that the religious right seeks to impose. Still, it remains a bizarre superstition. Why vixen et al seeks to enshrine superstition into law is anyone's guess. By that metric, Allah is real. And Buddha. And Vishnu. And...<insert random deity here>.
The whole notion is bizarre on it's face.
The problem stems from an ad-hock interpretation of what Satan is within the context of a very narrow off-shoot of Christianity (usually preached from tents like a circus). Mainstream theology presents Satan or the Devil as an agent of God whose job is to tempt mankind into breaking the 10 Commandments. Satan is essentially God's quality control guy. The Devil doesn't get a lot of space in either book of the Bible, the reason for this is that ALL of the evil acts depicted in those Testaments are the work of men, not supernatural beings. And that was the whole point of putting those stories in the Bible, to show that people have an active choice in how they behave and treat others, and this fact is what made Judaeo Christian philosophy so radical, no karma, no predestination, your life is up to you.
What we're getting here sounds a lot like Jehovah's Witnesses preach in their Guide Post literature where everything is the work of Satan (Islam, Judaism, Free Masons, etc). The problem is that due to the lack of a structured portrait of Satan in the Bible those who advance the crap we've been subjected to in this and other Satanic Panic threads has been drawn from the Apocrypha's, Dante's Inferno and Milton's Paradise Lost. None of these are "official" or sacred texts. Milton's Lucifer, the fallen angel now hell-bent on destroying God's children is not in the Bible, it's glorified fan fiction as is the depiction of the different rings of Hell Dante wrote about.
The subtext of the OP is that Epstein only achieved his wealth through favors granted by Satan, and networked via a mysterious international Devil-Worship ping cabal. The problem with this is that it is in direct contradiction with what the Bible DOES say about Satan, who under the rules cannot give anything to anybody because that is God's department.
If the Biblical version of Satan was at work in our little story it was just him whispering, "Hey Jeff, that sixteen year-old looks hot. You should hit that." That's it. And the same thing would be repeated with those who indulged in underage flesh at Epstein's parties and private estates. The biblical argument here is that Satan was just doing his job, and I'd argue Satan was shooting fish in a barrel with these people. At least in the Virgin Islands he could work on his tan.
But the documented facts are revolting and infuriating enough to me that there is no need for a supernatural cabal to be excreted into this story.
