I'm pretty sure there are tweets where Trump has attacked Bezos and Amazon as well. Remember how the law prohibits the President from promoting (or anti-promoting) private businesses, that he breaks all the time, but here is a case where they could show improper influence and hold him accountable.
There are. Remember, for example, Trump trying to falsely claim that the Post Office was losing money in its business with Amazon and his flurry of attacks on Bezos around then as well? Incidentally, whenever that comes up, it's worth a reminder that the Post Office is having financial problems specifically because of Bush Jr. and the Republicans intentionally sabotaging it.
I confess I didn't read the thread before I posted my question about impeachment. I figured it would probably be a topic active in this thread. Silly me.
Earlier tonight, a guy at work, in response to some impeachment news, cheered on Trump's removal as if it had already happened. It pained me to point out the flaw in that, much as Trump deserves being removed many times over.
I don't know. Maybe Trump is just plain weird. Below is a photo of Trump and Melania taken in 2003. (She looks different because it was pre-plastic surgery.) Donnie looks younger and slimmer, but he still seems to being leaning slightly forward.
For some reason, the faces on that just look like they've been photoshopped on, to me.
*Defensive* He read it!
Okay, fine, he skimmed it.
Okay, okay he had someone else skim it and turn it into a one screen PowerPoint presentation with only 4 bullet points and no big words.
Which he then didn't pay attention to because he was on his phone tweeting.
Last I heard, they've long since ditched the 4 bullet points. At this point it's pretty much a show of going in there with 1 point, repeating it over and over and over and guiding the conversation right back to that one point over and over and over. And then maybe, just maybe, he'll get it.
