ManLondon, I suggest the Vedic Astrology website is actually YOURS, and you are simply looking for some means of promoting it. You won't show us the site because we would very rapidly be able to discern it is a tiny, boring bit if code that randomly displays bland, meaningless text blocks that say "Vedic" stuff. And people will send you money asa result.

I would like to end this by saying that like I mentioned in the post that the person can pass on the verdict after I post the forecasts - which means, I am basically allowing that person to judge the forecasts.
Is it not only fair that the judge is impartial? That is why I requested a person not from this forum.

I think, it says a lot when I let YOU guys choose a person and I agree to make him the judge.

And moderators, do you not see what kind of language people use in these forums? It is really pathetic.

There is no doubt, you guys have much better grip on the English language than I have (Though I can converse in 3 languages). But I doubt if you learned any nice words or manners.
Proficiency in a language is not a parameter for a human being. Please note that!

And people, I get the impression that not even single person knows anything about Vedic Astrology. Maybe only time will enlighten you.

It is kind of a shame that he wouldn't give us the website. I really wanted to see this thing tested. I've got to learn to stop getting my hopes up.

I would need one person's details (Date Time of birth, place of birth). I will post back some of the highlights and the person can pass on the verdict.

I donot need to know any more than the above information.

Here are my conditions which will ensure fairness:-
(1) Person should be aged between 25 and 60. As by 25, most of people know where they are heading.

(2) Person should not be from JREF or associated with similar organisations. I say this because, with respect, people in this forum are bit less open to unknown. (unlike "I donot know what I donot know" to quote LandMark Forum)

(3) Person should be very sure about the accuracy about the details that (s)he supplies. i.e. incorrect birth information = incorrect predictions.

Yes they are impressive for sure but...

They do use some tricks to look even more impressive and I don't like that at all. And since I have seen them talk about the power of chi to do this tricks. Well you know.

They break stuff. With their heads. Now that is of course stupid. Impressive? I don't know. Since we don't know how hard it is to break this things in the first place.

I have on more than one occasion seen them do push ups on two fingers standing on their heads. Impressive? Yes and no. Yes if it was true no because they probably cheat. There is always a guy holding the legs with a firm grip or two guys standing with a pole between them and the push up dude hooks his heels on to the pole. Of course this will make it a lot easier. Hope you understood.

Is there a direct correlation between my destiny and my birth or not? You can't have it one way and not the other. That you object so strongly to this idea suggests to me you're not the "skeptic" you claim to be. You've put yourself squarely in the believer category in my books.

Every time a rigorous test or hard question of your beliefs has been presented, you've started bobbing and weaving and making up excuses before the test has even been settled upon. Is it any wonder we want to leave no room for interpretation in this test? You simply can't be trusted to look at the outcome of the test objectively, because your beliefs are at stake.

Look at this from his first post:

Recently, I met an Indian astrologer, whom I provided only my birth details and he did a Life Analysis and 3 years forecast for me. I was really shocked. It was so scary, everything was so very accurate and specific. Exact Dates, specific details! I was so very shocked.

I did the same thing for two of my friends.

Then we started to talk about cold and hot reading. Then he didn't meet the astrologer so he couldn't have cold or hot read anything.

Really, the only information latter astrologer had about my friends was "Name, Birth date and time and place of birth" That's it!! I had sent this details through email to astrologer and he emailed me the predictions with no further questions. Neither I or my friends went to see this astrologer. So psychic style questioning or suggestions is totally out of window. I am aware of how psychics work.

"Neither I or my friends went to see this astrologer." Do they need to see you twice to do cold reading? I may not be the smartest guy in the Nordic darkness but I can sure figure out a lot from meeting a guy once.

I think my next lines will make some of you rethink about it.
It is true that I communicated through email for my predictions but for my friends cases, I did not even send an email. It is an online predictions website.

I have worked with children a lot. I have been the anti bullying boss in school and it is me you get to have a talk with when you been a naughty boy or girl. When a story changes like this and they always do when the person is not being complete honest you know they are not telling the whole truth.

The difference is when I tell the children I am not buying their crap and they should just tell me the truth. They understand they better tell the truth.

Oh for goodness sake, grow up! How childish and petulant can you be?? You have simply been called out on your claims, and when you failed to back them up, I merely speculated on the reasons. Did no-one contradict you when you were growing up?? Or point out your mistakes? If really you want to get back at me, then you merely have to provide the evidence that we seek.

And if this is what you call "bad manners" and "bad language" then you have a mighty thin skin! If you want REALLY BAD manners, you need go no further than your nearest homeopath forum. They will be able to provide all the bad-mouthing you need instantly.

Actually, the chances are that quite a number of us know more about it than you do. Being skeptics, we actually do research on the subjects we criticise. Something you seem to have overlooked in your headlong rush to believe...

I bet that believers cherished beliefs are stored in some sort of index.dat file and that we need some kind of software to delete them.

Nothing bites. Ever. Maybe the woo's are robots created by Microsoft. That would explain a lot why the woo's can't think rationally but still can use a computer.
