If I was Pelosi, I'd order the Capitol Police to arrest them like any protester interfering with a Congressional hearing.
That might backfire, however.

Is he calling the constitution phony, or is he alleging that the complaint against him is pseudo constitutional and phony?
It seems like your rebuttal depends on begging the question.

I guess it's the ole' Navy IT in me but what bugs me the most is they stormed in with their personal electronics.
The space in question is what is called a SCIF, a secure area for discussing potentially sensitive of classified information. Personally owned electrioncs are a bid no-no in them.
Not only should all of their phones be confiscated and examined for any recordings made inside that room but they should clear the room and bring in the appropriate teams to sweep the room to insure that no listening devices have been left behind.I guess it's the ole' Navy IT in me but what bugs me the most is they stormed in with their personal electronics.

Zelensky is just trying to keep himself alive. He would never, ever try to blackmail Trump. If Trump were evaluated for a security clearance the way a regular person would be, he'd never get one.But .. her emails!
That reminds me of an issue I haven't seen mentioned.
Someone who asks a personal "favor" of a foreign national puts themselves in a compromising situation of owing a favor to the foreign national or being blackmailed. That could make them a security risk and likely to loose their access to classified information.
They know he won't be convicted. The issue is spin, and nothing else.
Trump's presidency might go down as legitimising criminal activities at the highest level. That's end-of-democracy level stuff.

I can only go by what he says. He called the impeachment clause phony. The adjective phony modified the noun clause.

If they ordered pineapple on their pizza, I am 100% behind that.
That would look terrible.
I think at times you dislike of Republicans really does blind you to reality.
And the GOPers look bad enough as it is. except for their base, it looks like a dumbass political stunt.
Rep. Alex Mooney, R-W.Va., even posted on Twitter what he called an audio "report from inside the SCIF."
But, at the end of his recording, Mooney claims he is on a "secure phone," and did indeed give up his cellphone as required.
WTF is a secure phone? And it doesn't matter anyway: He’s *tweeting,* for crying out loud. That’s not a stealth activity. One of these boner pills actually posted a twitter update from inside the SCIF:
Next sentence though:
So it looks like someone is snagging cell phones.
I think some government phones have extra protections...WTF is a secure phone?

That would really be criminal
