People all across the country should be alarmed.

Pelosi and Schiff are trying to impeach @realDonaldTrump behind closed doors. They're excluding the public, the press, and even Members of Congress from this process.

What are they trying to hide?

It is going to come as something of a surprise to the GOP members of the House committees that they are not "Members of Congress".

No True Congressman™, I guess.

Or maybe he's already had them impeached?

Voters are rejecting the Dems’ baseless obstruction & socialist agenda, and they’re making their voices heard loud & clear. Support for @realDonaldTrump is only growing!

Thanks to @GOPChairwoman, @DonaldJTrumpJr, @TommyHicksGOP, @parscale & many others!

I had to hilite that a few times to make sure the words "impeachement" wasn't written in white to mask it.

Who is his support growing with? Even with Republicans I thought it had dropped a few points into the high 80's.

Trump thinks if he says something it is true.

And in other 'no this doesn't look remotely corrupt' news:

Trump golf course to host next G7 summit

Highlights include:

White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney told reporters that President Trump would not profit from the event.
Mr Mulvaney said "Donald Trump's brand is probably strong enough as it is", so he did not need a branding boost.

"In fact I was talking to one of the advance teams when they came back and I said, 'what was it like?' And they said, 'You're not going to believe this but it's almost like they built this facility to host type of event.'"

Perhaps the key to Trump's political and personal oddities is that he's trying to use The Secret this whole time?

He sees himself as a Jedi.

We don't need to see his identification.

These aren't the droids you're looking for.

He can go about his business.

Move along.

"Downing Street has denied that Boris Johnson asked Donald Trump to organise a meeting between the family of Harry Dunn and the wife of an American diplomat who has admitted she was driving on the wrong side of the road before the teenager died in a collision.

At a briefing on Wednesday, the US president said he had arranged the widely criticised meeting at the suggestion of the British prime minister."

Which doesn't surprise me in the least. Trump thought he'd pull off a PR coup, it backfired badly, so someone else has to carry the can.

Hard to be sure who is telling the truth, since they’re both habitual liars.

You joke, but he is absolutely a devotee of "The Power of Positive thinking" which is in many ways the same thing.

Looks like Trump's impeachment defense and campaign theme will be full frontal alternate reality, and the Party of Trump is right behind him.

There's also talk of him inviting Putin.

A question I legitimately don't know the answer to, can other world leaders not show up in protest? Is this a "required attendance" type of thing? Can the other world leaders say, "You invited Russia, and we have no interest in attending your pocket lining ********"?

they can send delegates in their stead.

I think the meaning of "They're excluding (snip) members of congress" is that some members of congress are being excluded. Which is true even if the total message is a misrepresentation.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if the other G7 leaders basically pull a "No Homers Club" on Trump, send an underling to this dog and pony show and meet up for what will be the unofficial but essentially the real G7 Summit without him.

That would be awesome. The ultimate snub to the guy who thinks the world revolves around him.

And supposedly the agenda will not involve environmental issues at all, but instead will focus on things like economic growth.

I really do hope that other world leaders decide to stay away.
