....You will see it was a very friendly and totally appropriate call. No pressure and, unlike Joe Biden and his son, NO quid pro quo! This is nothing more than a continuation of the Greatest and most Destructive Witch Hunt of all time!

Could the whole Ukraine scandal be a trap set up by team Trump?

Dangling impeachable phone calls and whistelblowers in front of Dems and when they bite, he releases the transcript and all of it deflates and Dems and media are going to be "exposed"?
 
Wow I'm sure that will hurt Trump as much as that time Pelosi sarcastically clapped at him, which I believe the last big win the Dems had over Trump.

While I'm sure the Dems are stupid enough to fall for something like that, I doubt anybody on the other side of the aisle is smart enough to set it up.

Possibly.

Or more likely:
- Trump never actually releases the Transcripts. Much like his tax returns, there is always an excuse why the complete transcripts never see the light of day

- The Transcripts do contain damning information, but Trump and his supporters just ignore it. Transcript has Trump explicitly telling the Ukranian leadership "Dig up dirt on Biden or I'll serve you up to the Russians"? He argue that "That's just a negotiation tactic" and his supporters believe him.

Pelosi is in an interview now (from this morning) on CSPAN radio and CSPAN3 saying the 'pro quo' is not necessary for the impeachable offense of asking a foreign government to interfere in our elections.

Trump has OKed releasing the transcript of the phone call.

But Trump held foreign assistance from Ukraine before the call. Whoops.


It is a good interview, she mentions frequently that her positions are misrepresented in the press. I agree.

Obviously he means he'll have a nice dinner with the Russians and serve Ukrainian food, thus making them realize the errors of their ways and abandon any and all military action against Ukraine. That's so obvious what he was talking about. There's no way any sane person can interpret that differently.

The Democrats are so focused on hurting the Republican Party and the President that they are unable to get anything done because of it, including legislation on gun safety, lowering of prescription drug prices, infrastructure, etc. So bad for our Country!

I am not the biggest Greta fan on the planet earth ,but his attack on her was just disgusting.

He also never specified how they would be released. I could see a real-life version of "on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard.” "
