The truth is that we have a nation that is disgusted with the FBI. We have a crisis of confidence in the number one law enforcement agency in this country (thanks Comey!).
@LouDobbs “It’s a scandal.” @AlanDersh

“I am so tired of hearing the rationalization of the Left in the country because they hate Donald Trump. Inexplicably and without foundation, they choose to hate America. The Democrats have truly become the party of hate.” @LouDobbs

“To declassify is so important because if this were a Democrat President or a Democrat Candidate, that was spied on the way President Trump was spied on, this would be a scandal that would make Watergate look like nothing. Illegal spying.....

.....on the President of the United States.” @charliekirk11 @trish_regan

*tilts head* *raises his middle finger at those tweets*

They know they're lying. They know that they're trying to reverse black and white.

 No, not getting it.

Disinformation and... selective truths that became mainstream Republican conspiracy theories are the focus there, by the look of it. "Illegal spying on the President" is something of a giveaway there. Does anything more really need said after that?

Really, Lou?
You cannot fathom why the number of people who disapprove of President Trump is much greater than the number of Democrats?
You cannot understand why we are upset with the president’s buffoonish and selfish ways?
You cannot grasp that we are bothered that a significant number of his tweets are divorced from reality (or at least on a trial separation)?

I would say yes. Once it's out in the public, can you really honestly say it's still classified?

Yes, it worked against Clinton, when they classified subjects she was emailed after she was emailed them as secretary of state.

Don't expect things like this to be reasonable and logical.

I think there's a difference between Trump and Clinton on this point (not that I want to come off as defending Trump in any way, mind you). The president has the power to declassify, secretary of state does not. Which is not a defense of the president declassifying whatever he wants.

But it was about something non classified becoming classified. Just because the info is publicly available does not mean it is not also classified. Things just don't make that much sense.

During WW2, FDR had the authority to tell anyone and everyone about the Manhattan project, and it would have been legal for him to send all the plans to Russia.

Doesn't mean it would have been a good or even acceptable thing to do. In fact, it would have been treasonous.

This "it's technically legal" is a complete red herring. His tweet provided significant information about the capabilities of our spy satellites, information that we had been keeping secret from everyone, including our allies, but he's too stupid to know better.

The incompetent Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, was bothered that I played a very fast round of golf yesterday. Many Pols exercise for hours, or travel for weeks. Me, I run through one of my courses (very inexpensive). President Obama would fly to Hawaii. Kahn should focus on....

....”knife crime,” which is totally out of control in London. People are afraid to even walk the streets. He is a terrible mayor who should stay out of our business!

:dl:

Would those be the streets I spend several hours a week walking around? Or just the no-go areas (many of which I also spend significant amounts of time in)?

Something occurred to me this morning. People here have talked about Trump's apparent poor reading ability. There's a story in the news about a teenage boy who went blind from an exclusively junk food diet. What if it's not that Trump doesn't have the ability to read well, but that he physically can't read well because he's going blind, but it unwilling to admit it?
(Not really serious)

I agree. In fact, I pretty much said the same thing myself.

Poor nutrition causes a host of problems. Many vitamin deficiencies result in "brain fog": the patient actually gets stupider until the deficiency is corrected. Given his golfing and tanning I doubt Trump has to worry about Vitamin D, but from what's reported about his eating habits I wouldn't bet a nickel on his having enough B12.
