Short version?

According to what is described as a “highly unusual arrangement,” Washington insiders told the Daily Mail that Parscale’s companies and their subsidiaries get a percentage of most of the contributions to the Trump 2020 campaign, which now top $56.8 million. In total, according to the AP, Parscale is on the payroll of five companies with ties to the campaign.

Both the RNC and the Trump campaign have utilized Parscale’s companies, mostly Parscale Digital and Parscale Strategy, for millions of dollars worth of service.

So you are personally working directly for both the Trump campaign and Trump PAC which are not allowed to coordinate? You just admitted to a much bigger violation of campaign laws than @CNN outlined.

Too bad the FEC's down for the count. The FBI's not, though, at last check, its integrity has been... severely challenged by Republican shenanigans.

There's quite a bit, but it can be summarized with part of the ending.

Brett, this is bad. This is really, really bad. And even with as many words as I've written here, I've only scratched the surface of why it's bad.

Why is it bad?

Because it shows that Mr. Trump cannot be persuaded to follow standard policies on the handling of national security information.

Because it shows that he's not listening to his advisors who shriek in horror when he breaks out a cell phone in a briefing.

Because it shows that he hasn't learned from his administration's past mistakes with releasing confidential photographs belonging to Her Majesty's government.

Because it shows that he doesn't think.

Because every time he does this he's inflicting a terrible wound on the international cooperation that keeps Americans safe.

Because it shows he doesn't know or care how it's going to impact our allies.

Because he's going to get Americans killed.

That's why it's bad.

Remember how the Obama administration couldn't help but blab and brag about being the ones who assassinated Bin Laden? They leaked operational details of the CIA's fake vaccination program, which has not only meant that parents increasingly refuse vaccinations, but resulted in threats and violence against legitimate workers.
