Then perhaps you need to explain what you mean, because "society being homophobic" is the "worldview". If you don't ascribe to the worldview, then you stay closeted and scared, you don't become a raging homophobe.

There are more coping strategies than just the one. Homophobic gay bashing is a variation of staying in the closet. You are no longer just trying to remain inconspicuous, you're out to prove that you're not gay - maybe to prove it to yourself as well as to others.
But like I already said, I actually don't "need to explain" anything just because you don't get it.

I keep saying, I don't think non-Hispanic white people in general, and republicans in particular, realize how badly Dolt 45 is going for them among minority groups. While they sit around and whine about how horrible it is that Agent Orange is called a racist, black, LatinX, and Native Americans are genuinely afraid of the white supremacist thugs (and I mean *actual* violent thugs, not just people who they imagine are violent because they're walking around and have a particular skin color, don't even try it with me) that make up his most fervent supporters. I suspect they're teaching a lot of people to make sure that republicans don't hold office at any level, and that's a lesson that will stay with them.
 
There are certain things that Super Happy Fun America aren't super happy about! They are compiling a list of Corporations that (allegedly) hate the straight, but it seems to be the kind of hate list that corporations are proud to be on! :)

What is astonishing is that they lie about what they were doing and then put next to lie the actual communications that show they are lying. For instance in the part about Netflix they state about Netflix telling them not to use Netflix IP to promote their march that "... threatened us with litigation if we did not stop using their name and logo, which is perfectly legal for editorial or informational purposes...." The email from Netflix makes it clear they are to stop using the Netflix IP to promote themselves.

We know from the past that even when huddled in the last of their bunkers with armies ravaging their homeland, even when sitting in the dock of an international tribunal confronted with the incontrovertible evidence of their crimes and failure, they will continue to believe in their innate superiority.

It isn't a belief rooted in logic or facts. It is visceral.

It can't come as a surprise to anybody that the organizers "have ties to far-right organizations," but why do these idiots think that they "advocate on behalf of the straight community"? lt must be the same misunderstanding as when white supremacists think that they represent a race.
