This what y'all are gonna get when your national leader stokes racial hatred and energises his racist base to action. Expect it to get a lot worse before it gets any better.

I don't know; I would presume not, and I suspect most undocumented immigrants would too. If there are victims still suffering of gunshot wounds out there, they will doubtless continue to go untreated.

I like the word Wikipedia uses, rampage killer better, because it's a bit more specific in what kind of murder we're talking about, what most people imagine when they think mass shooting, but broader at the same time, including knife attacks and other weapons like bombs or suicide by pilot.

Gang shootouts could be classified as mass shootings under the current classification often referenced in the news.

Indeed they are. That is how right wingers often claim Chicago is the mass shooting capital. Because they classify any shooting with multiple victims as a "mass shooting" making no distinction between a shooter just trying to get a huge body count of random victims and shootings that are part of gang activity.
 
As far as I know, police have not given any statement about the shooting in Dayton; however, bystander video of the aftermath shows numerous bodies under sheets.

It was what an 'eye witness' told tv reporters. She also claimed they were dressed 'all in black'. I would guess she mistook the police for the perps.

The first on-the-scene reports came from social media. In one, backlit by flashing blue and red lights, Facebook user James Williams said he had been sitting at the outdoor patio of a Fifth Street bar when the shooter appeared.

“Came up with an AR-15, had a vest on, earmuffs, just started blowing bullets everywhere,” he said. “I’m safe. There is casualties everywhere."

Looks that way.

The primary shooter is reportedly dead at the scene.

Police are looking for a "possible second suspect", as we should all know by now is usual in these cases. The possible second suspect might be in a Jeep.

The shooting took place in the Oregon District, which is a neighborhood in the city of Dayton, Ohio. Specifically it took place on the sidewalk and street nearby a bar called Ned Pepper's.
 
From a press brief with the Dayton police which just concluded:

9 fatalities, at least 16 wounded in the shooting. Suspect is also dead. A long gun of some kind was used. Police were very close by when the shooting began and engaged and killed the shooter rapidly, meaning all of those casualties happened in a very short period of time. No details about the shooter yet, other than that he's male.
