But they are foreigners. And many of them are brown. And they are coming into the USA. And many of them will be migrants. And many of them will apply for asylum and/or residency. And many of them will overstay their US visas and become "illegals". And they are coming through the same Border controls as the people on the Mexican border.

Three million per month is 36 million per year. That makes the southern border situation look pretty wimpy by comparison. Because 3 million per month is 30 times as many as come through the whole Mexican border per month. And that's just LAX alone; there are many other international entreports to the USA.

So if LAX isn't a a five-alarm emergency due to the YUGE immigration levels, why is it rated a "national emergency" on the Mexican border? The answer is obvious: It isn't one. Just that you have been sucked in by Trump. Admit it. ;)

Airports are staffed for arrivals. There's no reason land ports shouldn't be either. Get the people their court dates and their bracelets or whatever. It will all settle down.
