David Icke's Visa Cancelled

It's not as clear as all that. From all reports, when he speaks, he uses language that doesn't explicitly deny the Holocaust, but which any reasonable thinking person can see right through. He's very careful to deny the Holocaust without actually saying those words. And thus he gets to play the victim card when people say that he does deny the Holocaust.

Or so all the reports and articles I've seen about him over the years have said. I haven't heard him speak myself. Regardless, he has clearly said many things over many years that has the Jewish community very angry at him.

Well, they have good reason to be wary, in general, but in this case I go with Jon Ronson in believing that they are wrong regarding Icke. They are looking for hidden meanings because the plain meaning is so absurd.

Like I said, I've neither read his books nor listened to him speak. And I won't. But folks were asking for the reasons why he was denied a visa. The reason is that people very strongly feel that he's an antisemite and holocaust denier, and the Immigration Minister has decided that we don't want someone expressing those views on our soil.

That may be a poor argument in some peoples' eyes, but that's the fact of it.

No, it is not. It is a masons trope. Rothschild might be Jewish but he was also an international banker. (The rich Jews I know want nothing to do with the freemasons.)

It is much more complex than that. Hardly surprising when the foundations are paranoia.

I know people who alternately refer to the global players as Jews or Freemasons. Both are popular contemporary boogie men in Turkey. Not sure how the two are reconciled or even if that is a consideration.

Indeed. It's the Illuminatus! trilogy.

And had Vixen studied it properly they would know that I know. Ewige Blumenkraft!

btw, Robert Anton Wilson (pbuh) got his "ideas" for Illuminatus! from letters people sent to Playboy magazine. I guess Icke was the right age to read them when RAW was editor there, so not entirely implausible... ;)

That’s true but as far as I know David Icke has not murdered anyone. I find the adoration of the Mark Read disturbing. Feel the same way about Ned Kelly.

I didn't lose much sleep over it, as Chopper targeted drug dealers and gangsters, and he also told some porky pies. A motto that followed him about was the truth, the half truth, and nothing like the truth.

Icke, on the other hand, targets the gullible and naive. He doesn't kill them, but like Chopper, he takes their money.

Icke has a target group for the bad guys that is wonderfully poorly defined.
Staying with that idea that "you the viewer can now decide, I have presented the evidence"

It probably took years to refine it to that level of silly. But if it makes him money he will flog it as long as possible.

He cannot believe this crap any more than those guys (not) wandering around the deep woods looking for 8' tall monkey types. It just better than washing dishes to make rent money.

If Oz doesn't want him there they have the right apparently. He certainly won't add to any increase in intelligence either way.

Nope. He is an anti-semite. He endorses the fake "Protocols" document and has made it clear that the illumaniti/reptilians are the jewish elite in his various ramblings. How can you rationalise this from his book ""why do we play a part in suppressing alternative information to the official line of the Second World War? How is it right that while this fierce suppression goes on, free copies of the Spielberg film, Schindler's List, are given to schools to indoctrinate children with the unchallenged version of events. And why do we, who say we oppose tyranny and demand freedom of speech, allow people to go to prison and be vilified, and magazines to be closed down on the spot, for suggesting another version of history."

That is a direct quote from his writings, so don't even attempt to hurl the "plausible deniability" card. it wont wash.

.

Thanks for telling the truth in the face of such obscene willful
ignorance.

So what about the queen, then? Is she a Jew or a lizzie ... I mean a lizard ... oh, I see, that's clever! :)

Correct, it's just true.

No, it's an example of confirmation bias. Some of what Icke says does sound similar to the allegations made by some anti-Semites (not a phrase I like, due to its inexactitude - Arabs are Semites too), however, in my opinion (partly based on Jon Ronson's work), Icke believes the conspiracy is by lizard people, and he includes figures such as Queen Elizabeth II amongst them. I've not seen any suggestion that she could be Jewish.

My opinion is that Icke is genuinely deluded; the fact that he's picked up some other conspiracy theories which happen to be anti-Semitic, and that some of the people he identifies as lizard people happen to be Jewish, does not make him anti-Semitic. Whether others are latching on to his ramblings and using them to promote an actual anti-Semitic agenda by proxy is a different matter.

Not less weird, but ...

Icke maintains that he is not an anti-Semite, and that he is criticizing not real Jews, but 12-foot-tall alien lizard people, many of whom just happen to be posing as Jews.“I‘m not talking about one earth race, Jewish or non-Jewish,” he told the Guardian in 2001. “I’m talking about a genetic network that operates through all races, this bloodline being a fusion of human and reptilian genes.”
The Alice Walker anti-Semitism controversy, explained (Vox, Dec. 20, 2018)

He's making money off this stuff. That's all that matters to him. He would argue Flat Earth or Hollow Earth if people paid him enough. I think there's a word for someone who prostitutes themselves out to do anything for money...

Evangelist?

Has this man called for violence? Has he called for discrimination on the basis of race (human, that is)?
Other than crazy ideas - what has this man done that a country fears him so much?
What a wonderful world we are living in. No longer do we need weapons of war to trounce other countries - we will just bring them to their knees by weird stories told by one man that will cause their populace to immediately forget their moral compasses and destroy themselves. :boggled:

Not less weird, but ...

Yeah this is ridiculous. I'm not willing to let him wriggle out of being called anti-semitic by claiming that the rich and powerful Jews he believes secretly control things are also secretly non-humans disguised as rich and powerful Jews. This is kind of like when racists assert that there's a difference between (n-word)s and "normal black people" and that they only hate the former, just a little more whimsical.

Since reptilian aliens don't exist, when he's talking about reptilian aliens masquerading as Jewish people, he's talking about Jewish people.
