I don't think so.
Trump doesn't donate to his "charity", he lets others do so.

Another complication for Trump might be that some of his sub-companies could be run by his children - which could be rich pickings for starting a RICO investigation on the lot.

yeah, but that has issues with statutes of limitations, and in the absence of the banks raising a stink, it might be hard to find eager prosecutors.

But it would be awesome if the Democratic Nominee could at every debate heckle him about his poverty. That hits where it hurts.

So either he is as poor as he claimed to the IRS, and is a liar condemned by his own words, or he committed a crime.

I believe in some cases he also overstated his net worth, in order to secure bigger loans.

He's actually not wrong, although in many ways it's a delusion rather than a dream. The idea that everybody can become rich and powerful is nonsensical, and a corruption of a much more mundane principle that simply allows for it to happen to anyone.

It would be nice to find out that Mr. I'm-A-Billionaire-Goddamnit! has a personal net worth that is somewhat less than a billion.


And then refer to him as "the millionaire Mr. Trump" every time you mention him.

He'd stroke out within a month, tops.


And it's not even an insult, technically.

Honestly, I'm at the point where i think everyone who hasn't already drunk the Trump KoolAid should just stop listening to him at all. He clearly isn't interested in having a real conversation with us, he's just posting stupid propaganda directed at his stupid base. There's literally nothing of worth in anything he's said in months, maybe longer.
 
I was listening to an NPR segment this morning about Venezuela and how Maduro will say things to instill fear or incite violence and his ardent followers act on it.

One of the excuses a Maduro supporter gave about the things Maduro says is that you can't take him literally, or it's just hyperbole, or he was just joking.

This is the same thing Trump supporters say to excuse the things he says to instill fear and incite violence.
 
Trump is losing it. Is anyone watching this "talk" about Mexico? WTF is he talking about? Even by his standard this is a rambling ****-show of a speech.
