Patriots Owner Robert Kraft Arrested in Prostitution Sting

I keep on wondering why these rich idiotic men do not simply go to some place like Nevada and simply hire the men and/or women that they want.

After all, these men can definitely afford such an arrangement and such an arrangement would keep them out of the newspapers.
 
I hope he learned the Smollett lesson, and will just admit it and pay the fine.

I mean this is a misdemeanor?

I have been asking that since the Weinstein story broke.
Hell, they don't even have to go to Nevada. Most big cities have very discreet call girl services who specialize in wealthy clients who want to keep it quiet.
Such service is expensive,but it's not like people like Kraft and Weinstein can't afford it. Hell, it would not even make a small dent in their petty cash fund.

Actually, it does introduce a fair amount of chaos at a tme when the Pats need to be planning for the post Brady era. Yes, Brady is incredible for someone aged 41, but 41 is 41,and he has only two of three more years at the most.

Yes, if they were in fact trafficked, and not just doing a crappy job in exchange for getting to the U.S. Paradoxically, most of the problems associated with prostitution in the U.S. are the result of it being illegal. A woman who needs help is committing a crime herself. In countries (and even Nevada counties) where prostitution is legal, the business is licensed and regulated, the cops know who's doing what, and a hooker is free to go to the police like any other businessperson and ask for assistance.

He doesn't want anyone to know.

The way he is doing it, only his chauffeur knows. The women at the spa have no idea who he is because they don't even know what the New England Patriots are.

Nevada involves too many people knowing who you are. A Heidi Fleiss madam is too risky. Somebody is going to get it on tape and then blackmail you or just go straight to press.

For him, the local spa seems to be safer and it's just a short ride away.
 
Look, the legal pananlites, from what we know, for Kraft are going to be slight(unless it comes out that coercion was used). But Kraft is in the entertainment business, and in the entertainment business you live or die by your public image,and his squeaky clean image took a hit...a big one.

Patriots fans abandon their team. Nobody goes to the games anymore. Nobody watches as they go on to win yet another Super Bowl.
