Yep. He'd be thinking that cops will only look for video right around the attack. Plus even if they do look earlier, they will see black guys which are of course not MAGA attackers.

This really didn't seem right so I looked it up. Empire was #15 for the 2017-18 season. This also surprised me as I had never heard of the show before this thread. Still, I disagree on the punishment , he has caused so much trouble I think he deserves a couple years in prison, just not any long time.
 
If Condo Guy didn't call police (just like Jussie wanted) then when was Jussie planning to call them himself? Would the hospital visit ever happen at all?

It's still weird that he didn't want police to be called. He didn't want to cooperate. If a person keeps to that mentality then cops aren't even going to look at video at all. You essentially convince them to just drop the whole investigation. Because it's like you don't even care.
 
I guess it's possible that "Jussie didn't want police called, but I insisted and I made the call for him" was a lie. Maybe he really did want police called but didn't want to do it himself. Maybe he thought that if Condo Guy called it would add credibility.

Of course it's not a hoax. My friend here wouldn't have called you if it was a hoax.

"Hey Jussie, we looked at the video and all we see are two guys with light pants. So those guys obviously aren't your attackers. Sorry, we can't help you. Bye."
 
A few Instagram pics from the hospital, and condo guy as a witness, and that $3600 bought him publicity as the takes-no-**** gay man who is too hardened by the mean streets to make police reports. Would pay off for him and whatever that show is in spades
 
From my armchair I would diagnose him with narcissistic personality disorder. He and Donald Trump are two peas in a pod.

But he could have done that without any help. He could have injured himself, wrapped a rope around his neck, and walked over to his friend's home and told a story. And then said he didn't want police involved.

He still gets the hospital pics and the sympathy and even some outrage.

Whatever his plan was, it involved being recorded. He plots the whole thing around being on a surveillance camera.
