Now it would be pretty wild if Jussie was in fact set up by his management team.

So, Jussie is feeling down in the dumps.
His manager thinks, hey I got just the thing, I will hire a couple of big guys who will jump jussie while yelling about Trump, and jussie with beat them off, and then be a hero for sticking it to the Trumpsters while inciting universal hated against people who are skeptical of his story!

I give up. I'm just going to keep reading this thread/novel until the last page where I'm sure some mind blowing plot twist will wow me with it's creativity.
 
Cops searched the Nigerian's pad. find a fresh roll of clothes line missing a couple feet. With a price sticker from Ace Hardware. Store camera shows Smollett buying the twine. Or maybe the Nigerians bought it, not knowing that a noose is 'rope'- them being from Nigeria, they think lynching = garrote.

I wonder if garrotes in Nigeria are pre-tied with Windsor knots? Slip it over the head of the victim, tighten t and it stays tight? Kneckties always felt that way to me.

Yes. Fraudulent reports need to be exposed and dealt with, especially those that contribute or seek to gain some type of advantage from to racial hate and divides. If it was manufactured the guilty need to be held to account, and those on the left with a conscience should be leading the charge if they do not want to look like hypocrites.

Only backlash would come from hypocrite partisian far left **** stirers who would just expose themselves as bad as many of the far right **** stirers they claim to despise.

As we well know, that's some serious backlash, enough to give any reasonable person pause for thought.

And we know that exposure doesn't worry them in the least.

There was literally zero doubt in my mind this would end up this way from the moment I first heard about it. Total certitude.

Only surprise for me was the revelation that he went to this level of effort involving other parties (seemingly, at least three? Unless he saw to it his manager heard the Nigerian brothers saying stuff over the phone and the manager was legitimately duped.)
 
Must have been sure CPD would never be able to locate the two people of interest, or he wouldn't have said he was sure they were the attackers.

Underestimated CPD, I'd say.

Have to give CPD credit for finding the Nigerians.

It was just a matter of time wasn't it? People who weren't invested in a racist narrative saw from the start that this wasn't legitimate.
