Correct; what I'm saying is that it's not a new bill; McConnell can't pull that on a re-vote on veto. The president theoretically gives his reasons for a veto when he returns it, and the Congress is required to "reconsider" if they want to pass it with a two-thirds majority.

It does, however, give the House the power to say "this isn't one" and hand a bill to invalidate it to the Senate, which McConnell can't prevent from coming to a vote.
 
Okay we've established perfectly what Trump, McConnell, the Senate, the Republican Party, and the Supreme Court can't do.

Any plans on what to do when they go ahead and do it anyway?

Still hasn't happened, but now he's saying that he will sign some sort of national emergency. We'll see how that takes form.

This is great news! This means that the Democrats can finally get things done on climate change when a Democratic president is elected in 2020. She will simply declare a national emergency and get all the funding for Medicare for all and climate change policies.
 
Neither Trump nor any of his supporters care that you can find a tweet from years ago where he says something that directly contradicts wherever he is doing now.

You can't "gotcha" people that live in their own worlds.

I was hoping for a National Emergency that will force all Republicans to walk around with their pants around their ankles.
