I would guess that it means an hour before the attack all the way through an hour after the attack.

Let's say the attack is claimed for 2:00am. You provide all phone records for between 1:00am and 3:00am.

they check the video, do not see the attack ocurring, then check more in case the poor man is "mistaken" or "confused" due to the horrible beating and almost loss of his sandwich.
 
He apparently actually bought a tuna sub and a salad... critical info.

Last week, The Post traced Smollett’s likely route to the underpass from a 24-hour Subway sandwich shop where he bought a tuna sandwich and a salad.

If home boy was only wearing a sweater outside in a polar vortex, maybe he had a brain freeze? Either that or he does not know his own neighborhood very well and got confused about where he was?

I don't suppose CPD got the bloodhounds out for this one. The stench of BS is overpowering
 
You know, I think we've been going about this all wrong. I'm going to reject the theory it was Bigfoot ninjas and I'm now going with a Trump supporting version of the monster from It. Could someone go check all the storm drains along his path?

If so, we should know how and when it arrived there.

That seems pretty simple to check.

If not, it would be odd to me.

It would mean that even with all these cameras around we conveniently didn't get anything attack related on video.
 
Jussie has hired a PR firm, the same one hired by Harvey Weinstein. Why in the world does he need a PR firm if he is a victim of a crime?

If the cops didn't find this hot sauce bottle, and the news crew found it, what, days later? Chicagoans walking the streets all day. I hear that town gets a little breezy, too. No, I wouldn't take it seriously at all.

Never heard the bleach thing, thought alcohol was the common street sterilizer used.

One way or the other, doubt most seriously that it has anything to do with the alleged attack. Prop, evidence, or paraphernalia, the cops should have found it before some news crew on a busy street days later.
