Canadian here as well, gonna call bs on the length of your walks. Might have felt like a half hour but it wasn't.

I can see that being possible on rare occasions where it's very cold, but sunny, with no wind at all.

I like how the more obvious it is that this is a hoax the less posts appear.

Personally I think it's a great opportunity to talk about the current state politics is in where a hate crime would gain someone street cred.
 
Update. It appears that the cops found another camera (a red light camera) that fills in the missing pieces of his trip.

There was no attack shown, no people screaming MAGA, no racist slurs, no gay slurs, no nothing.

Just another race grifter and spittle soaked anti-Trump fanatic actively creating hatred in the United States while spitting in the face of actual victims of the crimes and the residents of the City of Chicago.

Send the scumbag the bill for the investigation, and cancel his insipid tv show.

He is less of a victim than Elizabeth Warren is a Native American

It should be charged as exactly what it is, filing a false police report. But I predict there will be no charges filed, both the media and the police are going to try to get this to go away as fast as possible for a variety of reasons.
 
So far no mea culpas from the people on this thread who believed the story. But perhaps there is not enough evidence yet?

Do you even know what a red light camera does??


It photographs motor vehicles that either run red lights or exceed the speed limit.

It takes still pictures.

Because it's designed to photograph motor vehicles, there's no reason for us to believe it would capture pedestrian activity unless at the same time there was a vehicle within its range of view that was breaking the law.

Because it only take pictures, there's no audio. It logically follows it would not capture people saying things.

Red light cameras are often video cameras these days. Proof of the violation is a video clip. It's easier to just record video, and capture a clip of a violation, than it is to try to properly trigger a still camera.

People who are operating critically wait for evidence to find out if something is real or not. They neither believe nor disbelieve.

What we had here at the start of this thread were people who claimed for a fact the incident was not real. And several of them were people who only do that in threads involving LGBT and/or POC.

A skeptic never believes anything for a fact until very specific solid evidence is acquired.

So, nice try at spinning the opposite of what actually happened during the first page of this thread.

Even if the incident turns out to be fake the people who claimed that it was definitely fake are, in fact, still wrong for doing so. No "mea culpas" will ever redeem that evil.

You cannot call a coin "heads, I know for a fact it is heads" in the air and then when the coin lands assume that people are going to believe that you really did have some super secret detective power. No, a logical person will think you likely are either just full of it or have an ulterior motive. And if the logical thinker notices that you always do it when it suits racism or bigotry then it logically follows that you are trying to align reality to suit your evils.
