This doesn’t mean anything. Just because someone is a racist doesn’t mean they are tough fighters.

Many times the whole trial was probably the “suspect “ was a black man and the person they found was a black man.
 
Police find new video... which doesn't show the attack either.

That's a strange announcement. There's no video on the planet that shows the attack so it can really be taken as a given. Hopefully the news is code for, 'Police are gathering evidence to charge Smollett with false reporting.'

If it was purely some publicity stunt and not from some kind of mental illness then He should be prosecuted.

I've just gone through my phone and have found over 500 videos that don't show the attack. Should I contact the police?

Munchhausen by Nazi?

I first became aware of it in the eighties when a Dutch actor claimed to have been abducted by Neo-Nazis. There was a lot of outrage about it and then it came out he faked the whole thing.

Over the years I've seen quite a lot of these hoaxes. Sometimes to cover up a crime, make a political statement or just get attention.

There was this girl who claimed that a black man had carved BA into her cheek during the first Obama campaign.

I don't know if it crosses the line into mental illness, though if you're found out, that's probably the best card to play.

From what I've read, Chicago has one of the most robust camera systems on the planet. I'm puzzled how this attack wasn't captured at all.

Another thing not making sense: According to the evidence, Jesse was attacked shortly after leaving a Subway. Why would he not retreat back there afterwards? A warm place from the frigid cold with people and cameras present to deter people wanting to harm him? According to reports he was assaulted but didn't show up at a friends until 30 minutes later. Where was he during that time? Wandering the streets in sub zero weather?

I've had a cut on my cheek and suffered mild frostbite. I know which I'd rather choose. Also if Jesse's face was exposed as to be cut, if he was outside in those temps for longer than 30 minutes the pics at the hospital would've reflected that.

When I was growing up in Canada I used to go for long walks in -20oC to -30oC degree weather with my face exposed and while my nose and ears were uncomfortable I never got frostbite from it.
